I started downloading and I'm at 56%
My friend (who now has FIOS) was done in about 3 minutes....downloading and installing.

i just checked at like 11 and was sorely disappointed, then decided to check Joystiq one more time before i played GTAIV until i fell asleep. glad i did cause i wouldnt have checked the network update again.

That was a super quick DL ... Took maybe 8 minuted total for DL + Install ... I do not know if it was just this update or my new 802.11n Wireless Router butall my PSN stuff has been much quicker lately ... Use to take 30 minutes to DL + Install an update

The verdict is its Guitar Hero legends of Rock with the Aerosmith story and songs. Its good if your into Guitar Hero but not worth full retail price if your not a diehard. I think they simply should have released it via PSN as a song download pack. The Aerosmith story is actually pretty cool. I am by no means a fan of the band but I find the game and the songs enjoyable to play. As far as I see there are no new characters or anything like that. I hope this type of release is not the future of the Guitar Hero franchise. I mean what's next Guitar Hero Metallica or GH The Doors. I am sure I will buy all of them because I really enjoy the rhythm games and its one of the few games I can play with my girl. We much prefer Rock Band to Guitar Hero because of the better overall songs, tons of DLC & of course I love banging the drums!!
I would say so far my opinion would be an 7.8/10 or C+ if you like. Its great if your into rhythm games in general otherwise the only appeal would be to Aerosmith fans. It's certainly not worth the full retail price though it does have some cool stuff following the bands roots and story.
