Electrifying new inFAMOUS screens surface

Zap! Bang! Pow! Those are the names we've given to three new screens of Sucker Punch's open-world superhero/villain game that have appeared on the official PlayStation blog. We think they're only fitting since each shot depicts Dylan, the good/bad guy from inFAMOUS, using his electric bolts to tear the town a new one.

The game continues to look great, albeit very ... brown. Maybe these screens are just from the game's Brown District. (Okay, so we don't actually know that it has such a district, or even districts at all, but please play along?)

Along with the screens, Sony mentions that it will have "a bunch of news" about inFAMOUS at E3. We hope the "news" is that the game is actually playable at the show (and less brown).

This game is LAME! its gonna get scraped by PROTOTYPE the only reason this joint gets any attention is because of it being a PS3 exclusive. I understand when exclusive get attention but this game just looks wack.

Wow Sparky can choose to save the city or Destroy it? I've never heard that before not at all?

Man, Sly Cooper did dark graphics perfectly. It's a shame developers in the "HD" arena are still chasing the truck to brownville just because the hardware allows all these new lighting tricks.

Adding a bit of backlighting does wonders for scenes that are supposed to be dark and have strong shadows, but where objects need visible outlines. I'm sick of seeing objects that are half black with some sparkles for highlights.

awesome, textures have much detail.
As usual, PS3 owners look forward to it, 360 owners resent it completely. Not too hard to figure you guys out. (Notice I didn't mention any names so if you feel offended then you should do a bit of self-reflecting)

I don't think Joystiq knows what there looking at this game looks average I mean just average not really untapping that PS3 power I mean I can find ten games that look better than this on the PS3(I know you were expwecting me to say 360) that came out a year before this shows how much they've improved in graphics.

All I'm saying is that we just don't need another Haze situation where we have a war between people saying this game will be awesome because of a certain developer and people who thinks it sucks. I'm going to wait untill E3. Hopefully there's more info on this game.

This lame ass game doesn'tyt deserve the attention its getting I'd rather hear about that EGM Killzone 2 cover story again then this crap.

No I'm not a Troll I'm in fact a guy that has the very gameinformer magazine that talks a whole lot about this game and its trash, it didn't deserve a cover story unlike the gears and Resistance and Gh4 cover story InFAMOUs was more of show and I mean like 65% pics and intro and 35% actual talk about the game and huge bold quotes. This game has been hyped into the stratosphere by Gameinformer and Joystiq(more so than PS3fanboy i'm kinda surprised) and i don't see why. This game is trash watch PROTOTYPE blo this shit out the sky. Hype will bring bad things.

Have you heard about the storyline of this game? Amnesia, again...? and yah yah, I know that the way of telling the story is different, but the story in general still the same: Guy doesn't know who he is, where he is, why he is there, but he is really powerful...

The gameplay is also quite simplistic and lacking any sort of deepness, hell, it seems pretty much as if they just copied Ultimate Destruction...

And should I talk about the graphics, which aren't that great to begin with?...

Just like I will give Radical some time to polish their game before claiming that it is a bad concept, you should do the same for Sucker Punch...

But the concept is trash. its like Star wars not saying that a bad thing but its like a star wars rip off but without the super futuristic shit. He has the power to Save Empire city or destroy it? Its concept is lame unless they are gonna use that time they have to make a whole IP or completely revamp this title in everyway than this shit can go to the gutters. Garbage like this doesn't need to be on the market we don't need another second rate PS3 game we need a AAA title and this ain't one of them. PS3 fanboys you gotta understand sometimes the exclusives are trash on PS3 and this is just another average PS3 game that migt only be played through once even with trophy support. Bottom line the game needs to get burned in the fire or else it will get burned by the critics.
