Ominous Resistance 2 ARG site Project Abraham uncovered

We are not sure how they did it, but some very clever posters over at NeoGAF has found us another ARG website for Resistance 2. The website features a woman standing over you at what appears to be a hospital, concerned for your well-being, before she is forcibly removed and the video ends with a long beep.

What does this all mean? Is that actress Katee Sackhoff of Battlestar Galatica fame standing over us in this video? What is Project Abraham? Is that logo on her shirt the same as the one of the US military from getawarjob.com? The Morse code at the end of the video apparently spells "blackout" and leads you to another part of the site, with a picture of seven guys that you can move around on a table.

Is Nathan Hale one of these guys? Is the darkness on the sides moving? We noticed pressing tab will frame a yellow rectangle around the picture. You can also drag the picture all the way off screen on the bottom and the right, but not the top and the left, And what is that in the window on the left? Take a look around and post your thoughts on this. *hums The X-files theme*

This is crazy. I was reading the forum and this is what the guys got:
-Nathan Hale is the second guy from the left.
-There is a chimera in the window.
-The third guy from the left has a weird arm.
-There are weird lights coming from the doorway.

The darkness is growing. I think they need to look more into the video.

The same people doing this are the ones that did Halo 2 and The Dark Knight.

I think it's some kind of reinactment of what is to come. The chick could be that british narrator(Srry can't remember her name, it's been a while since i've played). And i did happen to see a picture on the wall, its the one of the presedent going "We want you..." or whatever. ANd i remember seeing that propaganda in resistance.

ANd the overall idea would be that Hale was captured by the Russians and then taken to be examined. Possible some sort of experiment to obtain his Mutated genetics!!!(Human/Chimera, for the ones who have never played the game). Hmmm looks like the intro to the new R2. :)

I don't have much to add, but in the picture the yellow rectangle when you hit "tab" is a standard part of Flash (it's an accessibility feature). You can do the same on most Flash movies (interactive elements will be highlit in tab order).

On close inspection of the picture, if you look really closely at the right side of the the white square shape on the right side of the doorway, you can see maybe the face of some sort of monster. Even if you don't see it, notice how it's a bit more grainy/pixelated than the left side of the square. Maybe I'm just seeing things. It really helps to see it if you invert the colors and zoom in 2x :\

Also, what is that between the legs of the 3rd soldier from the right?

Probably his penis.

hmm. wonder what that image burned (or whatever) onto the top-right of the desk is, too.

btw, turn on your desktop magnifier to see stuff better. the thing in the window definitely looks kind of chimera-y; the stuff between the legs of the third soldier to the right looks just like part of the building to me.

i thought hale was supposed to lead a squad of hybrids in R2? maybe this is the squad?

Am I the only one here who thinks the alien in the window looks a lot like a Salarian from Mass Effect?

This just looks to me like the plot for the (class based) multiplayer campaign.. Remember R2 is basically going to be two games with seperate but simultaneously occuring plotlines. :)

This is just showing the beginnings of a generic squad dude Ithink. On the sign up form you could choose some pretty crazy specialisations.. Psi-Ops? :D I'm guessing they're making them hybrids but that sounds like a dumb idea after the problems Nathan is having?

I think people are looking way too much into the picture. There is no alien in the window to the left. All you really can see is through the window to the wall inside the house. I think this is just a normal picture for now..it may change its appearance as days go by though.

WOW...this is just makes me want it more with E3 coming up maybe insomniac will shed some light on this ohh I noticed that the poster in getawarjob.com the one with the arm was featured in gameinformer I also think thats the squad but since they only have I think its 48 hours to live their mutation started

well i looked into the utm file and it said somat about urchin/urchin.com so i checked that out and its a site trafficing software by google. Looks like its gonna change the more people who go on it. Hits won't count its gotta be different people.

Me and my brother are wondering if the blackout page is a magic eye but since we've always sucked at Magic Eye we can't find out xD

On the gt-tv thing about R2, just after it introduces Ted Price, it will show some video of the game, and Hale picks up a knife from a table. UNDERNEATH THAT KNIFE IS THE SAME PHOTO THAT YOU CAN MOVE ABOUT ON THAT WEBSITE!!!!

I noticed the face in the wood also. I darkened the wood grain a bit to get better details and got this...

iv noticed that over so often, with the both the sites open, my screen flashes to black for a split second and in the top right of the screen there is a white image. it takes a while for this to happen and its happened about 3 times to me but only when the pages are open. i think the white image might be a chimera attacking. i don't know. anyone else noticed anything like this?

maybe the picture is the same one hale took from the locker at the beginning of the first game?
