PS3 Trophies not guaranteed for 'every game'

SO mabye it seems that if HAZE gets achievements then everyone will buy the bloody game. I WOULD.

And i think the trophies or score thing will enable you to do special things in HOME. Or mabye a over 100 Gold trophies club where u get extra privalagies or go inside some room thats better than others. You get what i mean.

Why to 360 fans always appear on Sony related things. GO AWAY.

Every, i mean, EVERY, single time i go on to a playstation 3 related article which has a comments section, there will always be an arguement about which is better, then there will be one or two people like me who come in and end this.

So what else do you guys think trophies and levels will do?

SONY will start enforcing it on titles that are not far along in development and titles afterwards, but its in a developers interest to use trophies, i understand insomniacs reason cuz there focusing on resistanec 2, but they may go back and patch ratchet and clank (i would buy it for trophies and the looming dlc), but infinity ward is just lazy, just patch the game that we payed for, burnout devs are doing it, there putting out free updates, while u do nothing.

well we knew they werent guaranteed for every game but they would be a nice feature for most games. especially games that wont be able to sell based on just the merit of their name. trophies/achievements could make someone rent a game they wouldnt normally play, giving them a chance to find a new game they may possibly like and actually buy a sequel.

im still kinda upset R&C:F isnt getting them though.

The fact that the M$ Ap amounts from one game to the next are just nuts. You got one game that asks you to slave for 40+ Hrs to get a hand full of AP and then games like avatar drop 1000 AP just for turning on the game.
Not only has Sony set the amount of trophy to game size ratio. There by giving a set value to any given trophy. Thus allowing them to have fair lvling system.
But then you add the fact that the saves are linked to your PSN(eliminating cheating). And you can compare stats even if your friend is offline. Looking at where when and how they earned there PS3 Lvl.

how has a discussion board about "what a list of the trophies for ps3 as of now" devolved into a bunch of guys, who don't seem to know their asshole from a hole in the ground, bitching about how achievements and trophies are the same? I don't understand 1.) the relation or 2.) the reason. Apples and oranges you buncha off topic mother fuckers. I'm very pissed now that I've spent 10 minutes of my time diggin through this garbage and still have no answer. someone really needs to moderate this. another point : If playstation decided to create trophies as an answer to microsofts achievements and is actually doing to do something with it, how in the hell is that copying what microsoft is done? as far as I know the only things that achievements will do are unlock some things in theeir respective games. Trophies as far as I've seen will give ou things in Home and unlock things in the games and also show your activity on the PSN which gives you greater eleigibility for betas that are invitation exclusive. I don't see how this is a copy of Achievements. Oh and for you narcessistic dumbshits who want to say that they're the same and if I don't agree with you that I've never played Live, go suck a dick.

When it comes down to it x-box fans always have to stick there noses in on ps3 comments. Hello? as i recall this discussion has nothing to do with that block you call a xbox. PS3 is a future machine that has just started using trophys in there system, if it works it works. All i can say is red eye.
