PSN Thursday: Qore delivers episode two

Unless the promise of spending time with our pal Ms. Veronica Belmont and another episode of Qore sounds like a nice Thursday night (there's an episode teaser after the break) it might be best to just ignore this week's PSN update. Per usual, the rhythm games add some content and there's also some game videos that might be of interest. With E3 only a couple weeks away, it's understandable that things are a bit quiet at the moment, but we're seriously starting to itch for PixelJunk Eden!

This week's European PSN update adds several pieces of Buzz!-worthy content; check it out over at PS3 Fanboy.

its the firmware i have on my 60gig ps3. but i'm being kinda serious, they should put instructional videos in the store. they have a youtube page already. some people don't know what their machines do. every update i see someone say they can listen to music and surf the web, and thats been working since i got mine last summer. maybe they can explain that if you download a demo and don't do it in the background it will auto install.

This is why the Xbox 360 feels so together. The ps3 feels so....so....not connected.

WOW thnx for stay on topic. I didn't know this thread was a comparison between 360 and PS3. B/c the last time I read it (1minute ago), I read that it was about the "PSN Update" on the PLAYSTATION!

wow. i didnt even know about the auto install demo thing. my connection is too slow for that though, plus i usually like to play my PS3 while its downloading stuff.

but you are right, i get people asking me questions about firmware stuff that i thought was common knowledge. a video walkthrough of new features would be great for something like that.

Why you guys feel the need to act as if SONY is charging you for this content is beyond me. This is an optional video magazine that is independent of SONY. I enjoyed the first episode even though I had already purchased Calling All Cars from the PSN. The Beta invites and early demos are obviously just a smart way to attract interest to the magazine. Besides, its just a neat little service and very creative. I really liked the piece they did in the first episode about Afro Samurai. I will certainly purchase that game now.

i want to subscribe to this but i just cant help but think it will loose it's luster at some point doing the year subscription. ill probably download the one during E3 though since they more than likely will have plenty of content then.

Qore is actually really cool. So far I'm really enjoying the behind the scenes videos. Veronica Belmont is a great host too, which was really surprising. I was expecting a "cool" host that knew everything that was "cool", even though she is cool...but not the "cool" kinda cool but cool cool. Rival systems weep because we now how the POWA of the Belmont on or side! Minus the whip...and leather...and magic...and fearlessness. Just the spell of cuteness which I WILL NOT...FALL UNDER...MUST...RESIST...MUST...USE WILLAIM SHATNER...RESISTANCE...TALK...TO...OVERCOME!!! AGHHHH!

I've been wanting to play TOMBA and RAYMAN for a long time. Tomba's one of the PS1 games I regret skipping out on. All I have is an old demo of Tomba. Do you have any idea how much that game sells for on ebay? Too stinken much for a PS1 game I tells ya!
