Rumor: More Rock Band 2 tracks listed
103
A second partial Rock Band 2 setlist, supposedly culled from a playtest, popped up on the ScoreHero Forum recently, only to be removed and its author disciplined by a moderator. Lucky for you, a Joystiq tipster (thank you!) slipped a crumpled note into our back pocket with the same list:
expansion sequel disc. Be sure to stretch it out and drink your fluids because the new "Endless Setlist" is shaping up to be a doozie.

Isn't the Lenny Kravitz in GH:WT?
(looks for announcement video)

Harmonix has proven so far that they are not in the business of fucking over their fans. Until I hear otherwise, I'm going to assume that no, you will not NEED to buy another set of instruments to play this.

Not only can you use your RB1 instruments (and GH2/3 360 guitars), your RB DLC will also work with RB2. That, to me, is fucking awesome.

"nothing like the real thing - GHWT is my pick"
single-sentence contradiction FTL.
Enjoy paying more money, being forced to buy DLC packs you don't want if you want DLC at all, having limited/no compatiblity with other peripherals or older DLC, and having shittier gameplay chock-full of power-ups and boss battles.

There is no contradiction there.. Stop looking into people's comments so deeply trying to pry each flame you can out of them. And I am content with the DLC and how it works. I am mostly interested in making my own music on something that at least tries to resemble a drum set.

You guys are crazy...
Anyways if your going to bail on RockBand why not go a completely different route and try Rock Revolution from Konami... They've put out a good game or two. Who knows. Could be the next big rhythm game will be fighting over next year when Guitar Hero Revolution comes out.
(the above was a joke but I do have a serious question)
What is GH:WT doing so right that is making everyone forget the sort of negative last 10 months they have had. (not trying to be a jerk, just having a hard time getting into the hype)

I was unaware that anyone has actually *used* the new GH drum set, outside of a few early "hands on" sessions. Aside from the placement of the "cymbal" pads, what's the difference?
Some people say the rock band drums are too flimsy, I say they're hitting them too hard. Then again, those are probably the same retards that are putting wiimotes through their TVs...

I didn't mean to imply I have played the GH:WT set, I am basing my decision purely on the visual cues. The cymbals being raised and placed in the spot where cymbals should be is a dramatic difference than having the cymbals and drums on the same plane.

copa, if you don't think peripherals are a legit reason to base a choice on, I think you're wrong. The reason I don't like the Wii is because of Peripherals, same as PS3. I have no problem buying Rock Band software once I obtain the drum set from GH:WT. Which, if I understand you correctly, WILL work with Rock Band 1-2?

Since when does playing the drums on Rock Band make you a "Drummer"???

Here is to hoping that those "raised cymbals" in GHWT dont get in the way of looking at the screen. Im sure that they thought of that... lots of people play on a 30 foot projector screen right?
The bottom of my 42" TV is just above the top of my rockband drum set in my line of sight while im playing. (TV is low to the ground) but i might just be in a wonky position. Those cymbals are gonna mess up my mojo.

The prime Soundgarden choice would be Jesus Chris Pose. That would be AWESOME.

Seriously. It's like they haven't heard of the amazingness of Badmotorfinger. Black Hole Sun and then Spoonman? Where's my Jesus Christ Pose? Outshined, Rusty Cage, Drawing Flies, Searching With My Good Eye Closed? Oh wait... I'll take this as a full album instead!
