Ninja Gaiden 2 will receive Mission Mode as DLC on July 25, according to a post on NeoGAF. Mission Mode, if similar to the original iteration introduced in Ninja Gaiden Black, drops Ryu into an arena setting and lets him go on a flippin' awesome ninja killin' spree. There is currently no price attached to the new Mission Mode DLC.
The possibility of a Mission Mode should come as good news to NG II players who don't find dressing up Ryu like a Ken doll a worthwhile activity. But, let's be honest, if it's anything like the original Mission Mode, shouldn't it have been shipped with the game or, and we're hoping this is the case, at least be free?

I'd pay if they were selling Ayane as a playable character. Of course, I've still yet to buy the game at this point. Soon.

I'd pay if they were selling a version of this game with a camera that didn't make it semi-unplayable.
I'll wait for the "Black" version where all this shit is free.

OH come on. Now you're exaggerating. Is the camera irritable at times? Yes. But it's not that bad.

Honestly? It's probably because this was pushed the fuck out the door 6 months before it should have been, due to A) spring competition from MGS4 and B) because of there were probably rumblings withing Tecmo of a Team Ninja mutiny, which would have delayed the game until probably holiday, where there would have been too much internal competition from other MS 1st party titles.
The upside of that, however, is at least NGII would have actually been finished on release.

Camera issues aside, the game is awesome IMO. Its no where near "unplayable". I set my camera speed to high and I havent once said "damn this camera is annoying" or something to that extent. It's just like NG but more intense and to the next level. Bigger, better, and moar badass...oh wait. :P You get the point.
Its probably the NG fanboy in me but the game is really fun and is a great break from all the shooters out right now. Especially with the new moves like the Obliteration Techniques, they look amazing.
Great game for action fans its sad the reviewers punished it so harshly because it wasn't merited at all. Also when comparing to DMC4 the game is just more fun, I found DMC4 very boring.

Yeah, NG2 and MGS4 are def my fav games of the year so far. Gotta love jumping and slicing off heads left and right in NG2. Its ridiculous how violent that game is.

"broken camera"
What the fuck does that even mean? I've played through the entire game and then some and I've never had the camera get stuck in a wall or focus on anything other than the action at hand.
The worst I've experienced is that sometimes there will be a pillar or the corner of a wall between Ryu and the camera, or maybe that he'll move so fast with some of his techniques (ie - Flying Swallow), that the camera has a hard time keeping up with him, but neither of these occurrences require more than a quick flick of the right analog stick to fix. Besides, you don't need to have the camera centered on an enemy when Ryu uses huge sweeping attacks in melee combat and auto-targets the nearest one in ranged combat.
How many games have you played that have the camera controls mapped to the right stick? Because that's how most of the games I play work. I'm sorry, but if you seriously can't learn to use the right analog stick to control an in game camera after more than 15 minutes of play, you either don't have full use of your right hand due to disability/dismemberment or are retarded.
