Sounds somewhat of a marketing ploy. Lots of people will pick up the first episode to "try it out". The total of these increased number of transactions may be greater than what the amount would have been if it was released as a normal singular release.

So we don't have to buy each episode seperately? Anyway this is much cheaper than expected, really looking forward to this.

Sony do some strange things. What was the point in making it episodic if they all come out at once? I think everyone will just buy them all the same day. I know i will.

Maybe they are trying to test the market of Store games vs downloads ( store games need more money... they need to make a BD then make the package...then ship it to every store). Thats why the game is cheaper to download...

Hey! if the total download is like 5gb... im guessing the BD need a mandatory 5g Install lol :P just joking..oh! and sorry for my english. from mexico here!

i could be wrong, but for some reason, i'm assuming that it'll only be the european store where they'll all be released on the same day. for all i know, scea could release them the same way here, but i just get the feeling this is more of scee not trying as hard as the other divisions.

For some reason, I get the feeling this is just another example of SCEE being lazier than the other Sony divisons. While I wouldn't mind it being this way when it comes to the States, I don't think they'll do it this way here. But I could be wrong. Would probably prefer to be wrong, honestly. lol

That is kinda stupid.. :P I wont be getting this anyways, unless is MAD FUN AND SCARY!

The idea of an episodic game is to release an episode periodically, like on a weekly basis... to create hype.. i just hope this does not turn out to be another flop.. tire of those. I really hope this works out for the best.

Why would anyone care if they are released at the same time? Of all the things you can whine about...

Well I'll just buy them all... I was hoping for like a chapter a week, could have lasted 12 weeks... or with the four three-chapter packs (like they are doing) one every 2 weeks would have been eight weeks... oh well... I guess it's episodic... you don't have to buy them all @ once...

I'm looking forward to the game, but I was kinda looking forward to getting it once a month or something like that, so its kinda like a tv show or miniseries that shows a big plot point then you have to wait for the next episode, where waiting is part of the fun. I guess it'll be good to have the full game at once, but I was kinda looking forward to it actually being episodic, and this decision makes me wonder if they doubt how immersive the game actually is, maybe they think people would loose interest if it was episodic, but I hope that isnt true.
