Were those screen shots for the original Xbox version of the game or was it just the Xbox 360 Feces Edition?

I can't decide if I legitimately think this game looks awful or if the DC fanboy in me is offended by this.

I suspect it's a little from Column A and a little from Column B, though.

Same here... the fanboy in me also wonders how Superman is able to be threatened with fire and how Batman could be 0wned by Scorpion.

It's actually explained. I'm not much of a DC, or a Superman fan, but Ed Boon said that one of Superman's weaknesses is magic, and a lot of the story has to do with magic, and the two universes somehow merging. So Superman is still powerful, but not totally invincible.

And that aside.. it's a game. They couldn't just NOT include one of DC's biggest stars.

See, in my opinion that's lame. That's like inviting Tiger Woods to a Golf Tournament and giving him one club to play with. Most of the DC heroes have some sort of ability that would give them an unfair edge. If they dumb them down, then what's the point? This is why this game makes no sense.

there are fatalities. They'll be done by MK characters and - I believe DC villains. The good guys won't do fatalities understandably and I can live with that.

Baaaaw I'm a 12 year old kid who needs gore and guts in order to enjoy games.

Besides as the person above me said, there will be fatalities.

Its not about gore for the sake of it, but for the Mortal Kombat game feel!

The MK cast and the DC villians can do Fatalities, just the DC Heroes can't (They will throw you in to Jail or something... pussies). They do something called Brutality or kinda.

There is only one character they could add to this game that would make me buy it on day 1:

Johnny Knoxville.

Superman wouldn't even react to an uppercut from Sub-Zero.

The Flash shouldn't even be visible, because he moves so fast.

Batman and Catwoman are the only ones who make any sense. I swear, if I see Superman BLEEDING in this, I'll lose all faith in DC Comics.

This is a stupid idea. It's dumber than there NOT being blood or dismemberment in Soul Calibur.

On the other end of the spectrum, Hulk kills most of the characters in Capcom games, and a shot in the face by Cable is instakill. Is MvC2 a bad idea? No...It's a crossover fighting game, where "who would win is supercedded by character balance(Sentinel/Storm/ Magneto notwithstanding) It surprises me people are shocked at Superman being a balances fighters, when in most games you can get stabbed 30 times and keep on running...

Hasn't history taught us that you can't put Superman in video games?

you ppl are garbage lol.. don't you get it. midway would love making this an m rating. with fatalities beyond belive but there is one big problem. your dum parents lol.. they are the reason why this is not an M rating.. just think bout it there would be so many law suits.. how can a superhero kill someone? i know is a game and is a vertual world but in the eyes of a parents and goverment and congress ppl are not.. i mean is not like ppl would go out and kill inocent ppl everywhere even at schools right? oh wait THERE ARE!!! lol . so just look at it like this. a new gameplay. new way of fighting new concept. new story.. i mean i was already bored with armaggedon, that i tough they need to do something different. thats what ED Boom said and did. cause is tru after making something more the 9 times bout to get boring.. hey this game gonna have a story, now where was marvel vs capcom story???? right! is an awesome game but that just fighting and figthting.. all MK games have story so this is a real CROSS OVER. not like marvel vs capcom. well so do me a favor take a shower you full of garbage!
