Hi helen! I found a great game today! It's called Stop Peppering This Site With Nonsense! Hold Ctrl+Alt+Del continuously for major points!

This was a reply to a spammer earlier...I suppose he/she got blasted off the internets by the Joystiq Mjolnir of Ban.

HELEN WILL BE CRUSHED USING THE CLAN [GHEY] HAMMER! Did you finally get into Battlefield the other night? I gave up and played Halo 3 for the first time in months...now that game is DEFINITELY being shelved until the next LAN party. WAY too slow for my tastes...I'm itchin' to get back on BF:BC and rank up.

Yup, I was off work yesterday and played in the morning. The game is just awesome online. The campaign is pretty good too. I'm at level 7, hopefully get to level 8 and get some more ch33voz tonight. Its just a great change of pace from COD4 with the destruction, grittyness and sound. Great buy for all shooter/MP fans out there.

Oh and I agree Halo 3 is a little too slow and I miss the sprint button >:( thats avail on other games. I still played it for a while yesterday and had some good ole sticky bomb fun with it.

@ ThePerfectCompanion:

What are you gabbing on about? You don't have to back up or replace the HDD on the PS3. Its a good option for those who know how to...grab a hard drive...and plug the USB chord into the PS3. Complicated stuff for sure.

does anyone know if you can run a system update via remote play? I'm not getting back to my ps3 until Friday, and would love to update it before that.

You can't unfortunately. Maybe because a system restart is required, which would disconnect you from Remote Play. But that's just a guess.

Hopefully with the "shut down after updating" option, you'll be able to remotely update soon.

Well I'm happy they finally fixed the update - now they can get back to talking shit about their competitors again.

2.41 is causing me all kind of problems as I try to play COD4. 2.40 went smoothly for me tho.

I've had some network issues across many games. I'm guessing it has something to do with everyone being spread across THREE different firmware versions (something they didn't plan on) and will be solved once the majority is on 2.41

@ FenixKnight

Technology is what it is, made by humans, so it can be faulty.

360's can be bricked 8 times or more. Might not be the same serial numbered 360 u get back that bricks 8 times (which is the point I believe you are trying to state), I personally know someone who is on 360 number 7, the guy is a neat freak with all his video game equipment and storage so no ventilation problems, etc.

Now Im not sure if it was the same serial number on the 7 units he's been through or coulda ben like 3 different serials, who knows.

But it can happen, and also, if im not mistaken either on the 1up podcast or CAGcast, someone mentioned there was a story written about one guy who's 360 bricked 12 or 13 times (one of those 2) but that's rare, that's prolly why they wrote a story or mentioned it.
