Sony feels your pain, prepares more PAIN
Slated to arrive "this summer," the PAIN Amusement Park add-on will introduce new player-requested features, including online multiplayer and PlayStation Trophies. These are in addition to the abundance of added moving set pieces you can see in the above video. Looks like in the case of PAIN and new content, it does hurt to ask.

The game should have had more levels to begin with.
How can you release a game with one map/area?!
NATO_Duke @ Jul 9th 2008 10:15AM
Yeah, each time I go to play it I pause at the screen for map and seem to get lost in the idea that there is no choice. I feel a bit screwed over in only getting one level, and then having to buy the characters they release, and now having to buy an add-on pack to get a new level.
Though the game isn't initially expensive, they are nickle and diming us with this release.

Looks kinda like it might be fun to play with friends while wasted.

"Idol Minds reckon it's more of an abusement park (their pun, not ours)"
Of course its not yours. It's too good. :]

"Idol Minds reckon it's more of an abusement park (their pun, not ours)"
Nope, not Idol Minds' pun either. It is at least as old as 2003's "Bucketheadland 2" album:
"BUCKETHEADLAND is the world's premier ABUSEMENT PARK where all your dreams (and nightmares) come true!"
Randy Nelson @ Jul 8th 2008 10:48PM
Oh, now that's just mean. :)

Tchaikovsky is rolling over in his grave after that absolutely appalling arrangement of the 1812 Overture.
murph @ Jul 8th 2008 11:33PM
how about a ^%$#@ demo?
ExTester @ Jul 9th 2008 12:46AM
If there was a demo of a game with one level there wouldn't be a need to purchase the actual game that consists of only one level..
EcnobA @ Jul 8th 2008 11:33PM

You make my head hurt.
SoCoolCurt (PSN: KillaKornbread) @ Jul 8th 2008 11:35PM
you know, i really dont see the draw of this game. i cant see it being entertaining for more than like 20 minutes. and only two levels (which includes this expansion) doesnt really help matters. they need a demo of this seriously, cause otherwise i wouldnt eve consider it.

this game looks stupid
DexX @ Jul 9th 2008 1:05AM
Pain is utterly stupid and worthless and a complete waste of time.
I can't help loving it, though. It's stupid in a good way.
It's a great spectator game, too. I once played for ages with no fewer than three friends (one man and twop women, in their late 20s and early 30s) watching, shouting suggestions, and laughing and cringing at the appropriate moments.
Seriously, guys, it's ten bucks, maybe fifteen once the expansion hits PSN.

I've got this game, and it's fun, but gets old fast...best to be played in groups
