LucasArts has always been good about supporting Sony's handheld. In fact, they even graced the PSP with an exclusive Battlefront game, Renegade Squadron. In spite of the handheld's diminutive capabilities, the wizards at LucasArts managed to get 16-player infrastructure gameplay onto the system. The upcoming Force Unleashed reaffirms the commitment Lucas has towards the PSP.
A new listing on amazon.com shows Star Wars Battlefront III arriving on PSP, in addition to every other platform out there. With the last PSP Battlefront game being such a success, we can only hope that this listing turns out to be real. Guess we'll have to wait until E3.

Awwwwwsooooome!!!!
SWBF:RS is my fave PSP game. The SWBF series are my all-time fave games, and as I don't have a 360 or PS3, this is probably MY ONLY HOPE to play the next interation.

Not a big fan of Battlefront.... but whatever, bring on the games. We can use the variety.
A Rogue Squadron-like shooter would be oh so sweet...

Well it isn't on there anymore but wow suprising news. Renegade squadron was okay for a psp game but there are many other shooters much better. I hope it comes to PC and I hope it has clan support and I hope it has graphics like the force unleashed. number 3 is usally a big number for video games. Soul caliber 3, mario 3 was big on nes, unreal tourny 3, now its BF3. Cant wait and I think free radical is doing it. In their site they have a 'top secret lucasarts project'. not too top secret now lol.

Ha! Guess it's been pulled--just checked the link and it said "Did you mean star wars battlefront ii?"
But yeah, I'm sure it's coming!
Personally I liked the controls on BFII better than Renegade Squadron. RS with the lock-on was a little too easy, and it was a little awkward without. BFII had that nice reverse-arcade-left-handed-sasquatch mode or something...

I'd like to see a BF3. BF: RS was a fun, rather quick game. I actually played online the other day too.
