Thanks to an anonymous GameStop manager we now have an internal corporate memo detailing the Xbox 360 Pro's price drop to $299 for this Sunday. We're currently trying to get a better resolution scan, but the whole shebang is detailed in black and white on the page.We now wait for Microsoft to acknowledge the price drop, which has gone from leaks to full blown flood of retail flyer confirmation.

I just want to know about the new model and it's price (or if there will be a drop on the Elite). I would really like to upgrade to one with a larger hard drive and HDMI outs, but am waiting to see how all this shakes out.

Ok. Now I'm certain there's going to be a 60GB 360. This, the K-Mart ad and the Target ad specifically mention a specific type of Xbox 360. Hard drive sizes and SKU numbers aren't needed unless there's going to be some other kind of "360 Pro".

If they do drop the price I will be pissed if they compensate the people who bought it within the last 30-60 days with a rebate or points or something because i can still return it for a refund and get another at the reduced price! any thoughts?

lol ppl that price drop is for real.. i was at a gamestop last week and it had the xbox 360 pro at $349.99 "WITH" a $50 gamestop card. so that means they been trying to sale the thing for last 2 weeks.. MS is going to drop the price. now im getting mine this sunday. If you don't have one get one you have much fun playing online specially with halo 3 and GTA4.
