There's something disturbingly satisfying about the idea that, if a mission goes south while trying to sneak through it, the option of just flipping out and destroying everything is still on the table. Check out the video after the break.

After what feels like countless delays, the new trailer for Mercenaries 2 rekindles our hope that the latest release date of Aug. 31 for the game actually sticks. The video gives examples of a couple different ways to complete missions within the game, from being all stealth-like to just going in guns blazing.

Wow that looks terrible. People complained about the graphics in GTA IV but the trailer looks like a last-gen xbox game.

The first mercenaries game was one of my fave games last generation. This game takes the crap out (Now you can swim and knock down trees! SCREW YOU MOTHER NATURE!) put tons of awesome stuff in (Customizable vehicles!) and upgrades it to next gen (HUGE SCALE!)
Yeah, i'm excited... Now only if they made it less BROWN.

Is this one going to get completely stale and boring about halfway through too?

Did you quit the last one before going to the next area? About half way through the first one you change locations and get access to all kinds of new vehicles. I thought the first game was great start to finish. Much more entertaining than any GTA game, IMO.

That's what I'm saying! This game is going to be awesome for us :D
I'm sure Loco Hugo will speak about it though, and I'm gonna see Jack Thompson incarnated in him.
You know, as if we didn't have enough trouble already, we have to focus on evil videogames from the empire!! xDD oh the idiots...
