Microsoft bringing home Too Human demo next week
70
We can go ahead and cross off one square from our press conference bingo. Microsoft has announced that, as part of their annual "Bringing it Home" series, the Too Human demo is coming to Xbox Live next week during E3 (via IGN). No word yet one what else will be available, but expect a usual flock of videos, themes, gamerpics and other random surprises. So how does Dyack's epic stack up to the hype? Find out yourself next week.

I turned off 1up yours right before the "Dyack Segment". I find him to be highly annoying and full of shit.

Isn't this game supposed to suck badly?

If you go off the last batch of previews from almost every online game site, then yeah this game looks like it's going to be the 360s Lair (I know Kotaku really tore it a new one). I hope not, because I like Diablo type games but right now it's just not looking good.

Awesome. Even if it does suck, at least they were brave enough to release a demo before its release.

What if the demo's delayed?

I really want this game to be good, but I just don't know what to expect at this point. Like a lot of other people though, my hope and anticipation for the game has been rising recently.
Also, I really hope the demo has co-op.

The Dyack/silicon knights bitching is pretty low in this thread, Im surprised.
I think a lot of people will be upset if this turns out to be a good game.

I agree that Dyack's rant on 1up Yours was one of the most mind numbing thing I've ever experienced, but I for one would be thrilled if Too Human turns out great. I see nothing out there that's suggesting to me it will be great, or might be great though.

I can't wait to get my hands on it. For a game that only a handful of people have played, the negative buzz is ridiculous. If the game was that horrific, do you really think MS would release a demo the week of E3?

"I am against the idea of demos. Nietche once said “"I have done that," says my memory. "I cannot have done that" -- says my pride, and remains adamant. At last -- memory yields." and I believe after careful consideration gamers who judge Too Human based on the demo should be arrested for sedition." - Denis Dyack after gamers hate the Too Human demo

Can you people shut the fuck up about how this game has been in development for 10 years already? Everyone with more than a handful of brain cells knows goddamn well that the current incarnation of Too Human has not been in development for more than 3 years. I don't care how much of a tool you think Dyack is, he's not the only person working on this game, and you mooks are equating him and his antics to the overall outcome & quality of this game. That's akin to saying George Bush is an asshole, he's your president, so that makes you an asshole by default. Get over it already. If you don't think you'll like the game, then why are you spending your time on a goddamn website talking about it?

Great! I'd love to play the game and see for myself what all this nonsense is about without spending a dime.

this game certainly interest me even though i dont have a 360. if this shapes up to be as good as it looks (looks pretty fun to me) then this is what i would want to see more of on the 360 before i bought one.
