The Max Payne movie trailer

Looks cool, but it doesn't really remind me much of the game. I never played the second one, though. Is based more on that one?

try to remember though:

max payne was a game basically poking fun at action movies.

Now they're doing an action movie based on a game which makes fun of action movies.

It gets kind of tricky to stay true to the game and still make a decent movie that isnt pure cheddar.

Either way, should be fun

Compared to some other video game movies, Silent Hill and Hitman weren't that bad..seriously...like B+ Movies

Mark Wahlberg is a terrible actor. This movie looks God awful. They f-d up another video game turn movie.

Criticism 1: Shouln't have used Marilyn Manson as the music, however it is a good song.
Criticism 2:They shouldn't have done this. Look at what happend to (S)Hitman and Doom.

I hope this is ACTUALLY good, because I don't want to have flashbacks of thius film when playing MP3. Just like I did with Hitman Blood Money.

Ok, Mark Wahlberg as Payne...yes great choice, no problems at all with that. But Mila Kunis as Mona Sax? I dunno if that's going to work. Honestly, I think someone like Michelle Monaghan, Carla Gugino, or Kate Beckinsale seems to fit the profile of Sax more. Not to mention the athleticism of New York's sexiest bounty hunter.

Oh, goddammit. I hope this wasn't going to happen, but alas it's true. I have to see this movie now.

I swear, I just watched that trailer about 10 times. I really hope they don't screw it up! And who knows about those "fallen angel" birdmen. They might be attempting some surreal shit, not just Max on V.

Mila Kunis looks a LOT like Mona Sax.

Well the movie looks cool, however its nothing like the real game. Ok its true, it does capture the "mood" of the games but as far as i know the story is not the same and that is really f***** up.
But thats not all i think the worst mistake in this movie is Ludacris, yes Ludacris playing the role of Jim Bravura, that is clearly an insult for the true fans and followers of the Max Payne games.
After seeing this trailer i realised that this movie could get to be one of the best game based movies ever made, but at the same time i ask myself: when will hollywood start to respect gamers? when will they create a movie that reflects our gaming experiences? when will they stop massacring our heroes?
