You're not good enough for Ubisoft's Hell's Kitchen game

You! Stop what you're doing! What are you playing over there? Cooking Mama? You think that sort of pansy-ass cooking game is going to cut it here? You're pathetic! You wouldn't last a second in Ubisoft's video game version of the Fox TV show Hell's Kitchen, coming this September for the Wii, DS, PC and Macintosh.

That's right, you'd break down in tears the second a "faithfully rendered 3D Chef Ramsay" yelled at you for putting too much oregano in the marinara sauce or some other piddling infraction. Why don't you go running to your precious Cooking Mama if you can't take the pressure of "the show's high-pressure kitchen and dining room challenges." Of course, if you do that you won't get access to "authentic Gordon Ramsay recipes, including many that are offered exclusively to game owners." That's right, you play with the big boys, you get the big rewards.

Hold it! Did you just twist the Wii Remote when you were supposed to shake it? You did, didn't you. That's it, I'm closing this kitchen. You're cooking career is OVER!

i'm not that into hell's kitchen, but his kitchen nightmare show is pretty good. i like the american and BBC versions.

This game is already out for the PC and I have been playing it the last 2 weeks. I think it's a fun little game so far and can get pretty challenging.

I have already played through this game for PC...and unless they add some sort of content, don't waste your time. I played through it in about 4 hours, beginning to end...and that's getting the maximum 5 stars on every mission (there were only 6 missions I didn't get 5 stars on THE FIRST TIME THROUGH).

You have seven days (I think) of maybe 5 missions a piece where you have to make items with "ingredients" and serve them. Problem is, there's only 6 "ingredients"...poultry, meat, seafood, veggies, starches, and dairy. So no seperation for pork from beef or carrots from celery, in other words. Pathetic.

People seriously watch this show? Like enough people that someone thought a game based on the concept would be a good idea?

Then again I'm the guy who had no idea who Ryan Seacrest and Jeff Probst were when a guy at the office made a joke about them a couple months back. And I'm damn proud of it.
