"The Omega Man"... ripped off by... "I Am Legend"... Chuck Heston was king of sci-fi in the 70's... ...on a side note Will Smith sucks ass as a actor, every part is just a Fresh Prince of Belair rehash... cant even do an accent...brrr!, but I digress... everyone who goes, "enjoy"!!!

Actually "The Omega Man" was actually ripped off by "I am Legend". Richard Matheson and Vincent Price predate your Heston movie by about 20 years. Nice try though.

It's just the I Am Legend tagline. "The last man on earth is not alone."

Hot. The last man on earth is hot. All that carbon dioxide in the air has caused global temperatures to rise, causing things to get really warm.

What a crappy selection of movies.

What about "Threads", "Testament", "The Day After", "On The Beach", and "The Miracle Mile"???

You should be punched in the teeth for that. Omega Man and 12 Monkeys alone keep the lineup from being anywhere near crappy.

Don't make me laugh, AoE...

Considering there has never been a good version of I Am Legend made for the screen, 12 Monkeys is overrated, and Fallout 3 is a game about the aftermath of nuclear war, my selection of flims is much better, and more logical.

And I add "Dr. Strangelove" to my list.

Miracle Mile is pre-apocalyptic.

And A Boy and His Dog is a fantastic irreverent SF movie.

There ARE good post-apocalyptic films, somebody should tell them. But they probably couldn't get permission to use them. I Am Legend with the alternate ending is better than either of the other movies based on the book.

Holy sh**. A Boy and His Dog is one of the worst excuses for a film ever. Some films just don't age well at all and this is the definition.

I never watched that movie but according to wiki it must be one hell of a movie.

"The main character, Vic, played by Don Johnson in a notable early role, is an 18-year-old boy focused on stealing food and fulfilling his sexual needs. He is accompanied by a well-read and wise-cracking telepathic dog named Blood, an "experienced female provider." Blood was voiced by Tim McIntire".

"In addition to locating women for Vic to rape, Blood also has the unenviable task of trying to educate Vic and keep him safe from harm".

A talking dog that finds women to r*pe? Beat that Underdog ROFL.

Yeah Esquire. Don't listen to Mike. It's a classic that gets better with age. But what do I know? Logan's Run is one of my most favorite movies ever.

I really want to change my avatar to differentiate myself from this other, newer Mike, but I can't seem to use the password I use for this site to do that.

I've not used any other password on anything regarding any of these blogs. Is there any way to retrieve the imaginary password which the weblog site must have made up for me?

I wanted to like A Boy and his Dog, and was really looking forward to seeing it, but horrible dialogue writing a completely errant and direction-less plot make for a bad movie, "classic" or not.
