I think this will be HUGE on the DS.

I never played the x-box version... because i've never owned an x-box of any kind. From all i've read, this will hit the animal crossing DS loving market big time. I fit this description, and it's one of my most anticipated games. With this sort of game it's the charm, style, and fun that capture an audience... not the flashy graphics loving x-box crowd primed on first person shooters and headshots. I wouldn't be surprised if it manages to satisfy both the wider-market and the more dedicated DS gamer. The system is all about gameplay over graphics, anyway.

I hope this game will be a hit on the DS, but there doesn't seem to be that much fanfare about the project. Isn't the game already finished? I believe I read it on this site; they're pressing the carts as we speak - probably. So where's the buzz? Or is it too early for that sort of talk?

I was really interested in the 360 version but I didn't have a 360 at the time, so this is perfect for me. If the game does sell well then maybe we might even see a Banjo Kazooie game in the future. That could be cool.

I'm a little less exuberant about VP:PP's potential success. I loved Viva Pinata on the 360, and it's a great fit for the DS, but I can't shake the feeling that the market will pretty much ignore it. I think the idea of rearing candy-filled pinatas might be a bit too much for people to wrap their heads around and accept.

Hmm. Rare is owned by Micro$oft, isn't it? I'm not so sure I like that.

I was one of those who just "stumbled" upon viva pinata on 360. It is an amazing game! I love the humor and gameplay and everything.

I think it will do amazingly better on the DS because it's orignal release competed with gears of war and now everyone knows how truly awesome it really is!

:O That picture is so disturbing... And thanks to the large amount of casual gamers on the DS, I reckon this'll sell well.
