Geezus, just get a virtual debit card if you don't want to use your real one, or if you don't own neither just open a debit account online. It took me 5 minutes to open mine. People just don't know what to complain about these days...

Yeah, I don't get it... Are you against having a checking account or something? You do realize that it doesn't need to be an actual credit card, right?

I kinda wish they upgraded the graphics... but I love those old Mega Man games so much that it's still a must-buy. I think they're trying to make us forget that any of the post 8-bit generation Mega Man games ever existed.

I have all the original Megamans on my NES (which i still have hooked up) and Megaman X for SNES (which is also still hooked up). The idea is cool, but to be honest I would have prefered that they made it with the 16-bit snes graphics like Megaman X. IMO Megaman X was the best one. a close second for me is Megaman 5 but IMO nothing tops X. $10 is a little steep for what is essentially an NES game but Nostalgia will probably get the better of me eventually.

I was thinking the same thing. I would have liked to see a little biut of a touch up.

I love playing the older games on a small screen, but 8/16bit on a 52" screen is really painful.

I was wondering when this news would get posted, great to see it on all platforms, so no one gets left out.

Now for the long wait for it to come to Europe :(

love the soundtrack. I would love to hear it on an actual guitar. And was megaman 9 the best 2d megaman ever or something? cause when i was in grade school...15 years ago i think, i played the megaman X series quite often, i think my favorite was x 2

Mega Man 9 is an entirely new game meant to look like an old game. The original Mega Man games spanned 1-8.

And Mega Man 2 was the best Mega Man of all time. Anything in the X series pales in comparison to the original series, but especially pales in comparison to Mega Man 2.

So let me get this straight.

We play Megaman 1-6 on the NES

We play Megaman 7 on the SNES

We play Megaman 8 on the PS1

We play X - XIII on SNES

We play X4 - X7 on the PS1 while X7-X8 are on the PS2

Plus tons of them for GB, GBA, DS, etc...

Now Megaman 9 is comming out and we go back to NES graphics? If that's the case I hope it's playable on the PSP. If not... I feel a little cheated. Would it have really been that hard to provide us with the Megaman 7 style gameplay? The last Megaman (non X) game should be advancing everything we've seen up to this point. Sure it's just graphically like the NES but does it look like it will really advance the gameplay any further?

I'm buying this one, but I can't help but feel like they could have provided SNES graphics since it's on the PS3. Maybe it's partly because of Nintendo's virtual console. Who knows.

megaman 4 was the best mega man game there was.

i hope this turns out to be good, when new super mario brothers for ds came out, i loved that game so much (even though i literally blinked and completed it).
