Our E3 2008 armaments: This is how we blog
If you're interested in seeing the technological "middle men" the Joystiq Network™ use to get our E3 2008 coverage to you, check out our collection of blogging gear gallery. If that's not enough, you can see more blogging gear from our GDC 2008 edition (including pictures from the elusive Justin McElroy, who opted not to reveal his cards for this week's event).

Check out that lute (mandolin?)!
Neebs @ Jul 13th 2008 3:15PM
Yeah, who plays that?
theturtle363 @ Jul 13th 2008 3:17PM
Sting
Jakka @ Jul 13th 2008 3:20PM
It's for the E3 Hoedown!
Ross Miller @ Jul 13th 2008 3:53PM
Mandolin. And I play it. Like a badass.
Benny @ Jul 13th 2008 3:54PM
He's taking it for the GH4 compatibility test.
Youthinized @ Jul 13th 2008 3:45PM
Almost looks like a banjo.
Is that for down time??
eNrique @ Jul 13th 2008 3:56PM
i hate you!
Saria the Cat @ Jul 13th 2008 4:16PM
Earplugs for naps or earplugs to drown out the rowdiness while trying to write something up?
Heh @ Jul 13th 2008 4:27PM
See this is why Joystiq's comment system is bull. I noticed the earplugs aswell but didn't see your post come up. Now I've lost the timing for any good jokes. And the game. Which you just lost aswell.
Saria the Cat @ Jul 13th 2008 4:39PM
@Heh: It is pretty frustrating when my comments don't show up right away and then I rifle through my inbox to find a "activate your comment" link which will never come. And then the inevitable double post...*shakes head sadly*
Heh @ Jul 13th 2008 4:26PM
Earplugs? Light sleeper much?
Christoph @ Jul 13th 2008 4:33PM
I love this post, and look forward to it every E3. :)
Thumbs up for all the Apple Laptops. Sorry couldn't resist the fanboy idiocy.
I wish you all the best, looking forward to checking my computer every 3 seconds for updates. Have fun...
(I'm excited and I'm not even going, lol)

Oscar @ Jul 13th 2008 8:42PM
Needs more cowbell.
Brazell @ Jul 13th 2008 8:54PM
Nice pair-bellied mandola. I have one myself.
MarMar @ Jul 13th 2008 11:00PM
It's been so long since I've used a pen and paper (never used them once during college or grad school...) that I actually can't write on notepads anymore -- looks like kindergarten. Part of the reason I don't like DS or Tablet PCs I guess.
