Well that was sadly underwhelming :(
LordChimp @ Jul 13th 2008 6:50PM
I was as well :(
theturtle363 @ Jul 13th 2008 8:16PM
it doesn't look like they changed the graphics at all
Rollins @ Jul 13th 2008 6:36PM
Sweet. Now I just have to decide whether to go 360 or PC on this one.
BigKountry @ Jul 13th 2008 7:03PM
I'm in the same boat.
aristokrat @ Jul 13th 2008 9:17PM
360...for the achievements of course!
Haggard @ Jul 14th 2008 6:29PM
I'm glad you base your choices on such important points of debate, aristokrat.
mezzanine @ Jul 13th 2008 6:45PM
I want it, but I should probably buy the original FEAR first.
Vegnagun bwf @ Jul 13th 2008 6:47PM
I liked the trailer, I just hope Project Origin doesn't take place entirely in an office with similar rooms.
eldee @ Jul 13th 2008 6:56PM
gametrailers is so inconsistent on what they make you put your age in to view.. Not that I care, I just wish they'd drop the pretense and do away with the stupid ass age checking shit altogether.
theturtle363 @ Jul 13th 2008 7:07PM
could they have picked a more generic name?
Gbogdan @ Jul 13th 2008 8:14PM
Does the name really matter all that much?
WedgeTalon @ Jul 13th 2008 9:06PM
Guess you should've given them a better one back when they ran that pick-the-name-for-the-game-contest.
Maverick Saturn @ Jul 13th 2008 7:22PM
*sniffs* I smell Doom *sniffs* Could it be doom 4? *sniffs* No wait, this smells like doom, but worse, much worse *sniffs* Oh yeah, I recognise this smell, its that game...whats it called again?
C.R.A.P
Dwag @ Jul 13th 2008 7:53PM
I might buy this depending on what they at E3 like gameplay and online features.
Residentevil72501 @ Jul 13th 2008 8:38PM
Fans of the first FEAR got to pick the name so its our fault the name is strange.
JAY JAY @ Jul 13th 2008 9:09PM
Who cares about graphics? I'm waiting to see how the "gameplay" is...
Ninjakamster (PS360 FTW!) @ Jul 13th 2008 9:42PM
The game is said to follow the story of the original and disregard the expansion packs but there's absolutely no word on the Point Man, Jin and Holiday (who died in the Extraction Point expansion pack).
Your not playing as the Point Man and who had the slo-mo powers because he was Alma's son.
Now you play as a DF operative who gets the powers from surgery?
Wait, because Vivendi has the rights to the FEAR name, Monolith couldn't use the squad from the original, LAME!!!
Tim The Enchanter @ Jul 14th 2008 10:41AM
Spoiler alert! :-P
voodoomage @ Jul 13th 2008 11:12PM
I loves me some F.E.A.R. so I am looking forward to this.
Ken @ Jul 14th 2008 1:14AM
What is officially F.E.A.R canon? FEAR has 3 games/expansions so far so what actually counts are the real story?
Jared @ Jul 14th 2008 10:18AM
Absolutely loved the orignal F.E.A.R. Never played any of the little prequel/sequels that came out(not sure which one it was). So is this a direct sequel to the original F.E.A.R?
