Hmm , since bungie is independent now , they can do whatever they want . And probably as long as this game isn't called Halo or whatever they could make whatever they want on anything they want . Now , if they were to release this on PC , PSN , AND XBLA , they could probably at least double their sales , and profits . (and maybe they could release it for PSP and Wii VC , and maybe they could make it for DS too [official homebrew anyone? , considering there's that new official R4 cart from Ninty]

I pointed this out in one of the Halo posts, but again. Microsoft share equity interest with Bungie, even though they're independent now, they're still basically working for Microsoft. Anything they make will still be 360 exclusive, that's the ONLY reason they were allowed to go independent.

if the talk of this game being an answer to mario and a 2d side scroller because of what shiggy said, then part of me hopes he has a 1st/3rd person shooter in the style of halo CE sans back tracking (with possible head tracking) that rocks the gaming world. but thats just how i feel about it.

My guess is it's been in development the entire time Bungie was working on Halo.

August 7? Interesting...
The same day that OXM UK promises that 'a must buy sequel fully revealed' in their next issue, released August 7.

Odd things found when viewing the source for the page
http://1019foxfm.net/
I found this:
Out of the Ashes.. SOON!

and that lead to a thread that links that page to the
ilovebees.com page from the Bungie.net forums here:

What if the superintendent is a metaphor for Mario? (Nintendo) That's almost scary to think about.

In ElectricGypsy's first link (http://1019foxfm.net/) it talked about the person being a devil. I may be wrong, but isn't that what the Covenant grunts called Masterchief. This is just a guess and correct me if I'm wrong.
