The Wiimote will suffice; additional plastic is not needed.

Ii think this "plastic" is worthwhile.Looking its cooler shape,i can not help to buy one to play games. But what i concern is if this "gun" legal to buy from oversee?I wonder where you guys buy this gun?Do anyone buy it from China or other place?I do not know if the local customs will ban it.

Gotta disagree here. I played HotD with the Perfect Shot and then tried it with just the Wiimote and hated it. Using just the Wiimote may be acceptable, but only if you've never tried anything else. Plus playing a light gun game without a gun just feels weird.

I quite like the Wii Zapper even though it's not hugely comfortable and seeing as the Wii-remote is a pointer anyway seems a bit, well, pointless.

I do remember the SNES's Super Scope back in the day, but I was only a kid and for some reason had trouble closing one eye in order to look through the sight, so my brother made me a little eye-patch out of a bit of cardboard and a rubber band.

I appreciate the "plastic". My friend and I have played a lot of Ghost Squad and RE: UC. I feel like it adds a lot of the experience.

I am not very fond of the Zapper. It is uncomfortable. On the other hand, I love my "Perfect Shot". It is outstanding.

I'm was thinking about getting the perfect shot but then realized that in RE4 Wii edition you have to whole down B and A to fire.. so that wouldn't work out very well. so i have yet to buy it.

Well, I was thinking about buying the perfect shot, then I read your review on it and decided that it was worth purchasing just for fun.

I have Umbrella Chronicles, which is the only game i have that is actually playable with the gun. Except you actually have to use the A button to pick things up and use the knife. So using the gun makes certain parts of the game harder because you have to use both hands.

I never use it. I wasted 15 bucks.

Did you guys give it a positive review because they sent it to you and you want more free stuff, or did you actually think it worked well with RE: UC?

Did you happen to look in the options menu for Zapper controls that changes the controls to the Nunchuck? A quick internet search or common sense would have pointed you in the rigth direction, so please do not whine and blame others.

Dustin you have to configure the buttons for the Zapper setting. If you do that then you plug in the nunchuck through the bottom of the Perfect Shot and use that for grenades, picking things up, knife slashing.

It's an honest mistake, but you should configure it that way, it is a lot of fun.

Thanks for the help guys, and thank you Tom for being so understanding about it.

There really was no need to insult my intelligence, GumbyX84. I realize this is the internet, but it still wasn't necessary.

Crap like this deserves a good insult or two. Or a punch in the face. You did something stupid and then accused WFB of giving a positive review to an inferior product because they wanted free stuff. If I had written that review, I'd ban you from the site here and now.

This isn't a Nintendo gun, but the light gun for the Xbox was great when playing House of the Dead 3. I always used to use it if I could.

I just use the Wiimote for RE:UC and HotD.

Sucks about dual wielding, though. It's borderline impossible to do with the little reticules, I find.

I have a Zapper. I used it once or twice, but it really makes the whole experience a lot less comfortable and a lot less fun.

The Zapper was nice but I didn't care for it felt awkward. Nintendo needs a better zapper but I bought the Perfect Shot recently and I LOVE it. The perfect shot really lives up to its name.

I own a zapper and my friends and I have put in a good amount of time with ghost squad on zappers, it definitely improves the experience. I'm glad I bought the plastic controller-holder...definitely worth it.

I have the perfect shot. A while ago when I found out about it I had to have it. I grew up playing house of the dead, time crisis, virtua cop and other arcade light gun games. When I found out hotd was gonna be on Wii that sealed the deal for me. Especially because hotd was so cheap when it came out it made purchasing the gun easier. Especially on amazon for 10 bucks.

The perfect shot is a great gun, and the nunchuck port in the bottom lets you play Medal of Honor online too, and res evil uc.

I imagine in the future more classic and even newer light gun games will come out for the Wii and the perfect shot is def a great thing to have.

I originally bought the zapper, and do enjoy in for Medal of Honor and Quake. I bought a pair of perfectshots to play House of the Dead, and I must say they were a good purchase as well. Some people are saying that the guns are unnecessary but my wrist gets tired holding the wiimote at the funny angle shooting games require. The grip makes it all considerably more comfortable.

I bought the Perfect Shot on sale. It's quite cool, although the trigger can seem a little stiff and over time it feels quite front-heavy. I don't find it that comfortable to be honest. I've since seen another pistol shell that's shaped more like the classic Luger, with more weight over the back of your hand, that may be better.

I have the Nyko Perfect Shot, and yeah, it's pretty cool, but I wanna get one of these (http://gear.ign.com/objects/142/14257203.html) just cause you can hit the A button using the second trigger.

I have the Zapper and two Perfect Shots.

The Zapper I prefer for Link's Crossbow Training and Ghost Squad. The Perfect Shot just doesn't feel right when you're supposed to be carrying a crossbow or assault rifle. So I prefer the Zapper for weapons that require two hands.

The Perfect Shot I use solely for House of the Dead. I got two of them so I could dual-wield. And let me tell you, that is the most fun I've ever had with a light gun game.

So I like them both equally, they each have their place.

i got my Nyko when it first came out on Ebay, and ever since my Wii Zapper has sat in the drawer, I hate the Wii zapper, they should have put more effort into the design ,or hell partnered up with Nyko or something.
