PSP had a number of excellent SRPG games to choose from during last year's holiday season. Final Fantasy Tacticsc: The War of the Lions was one of them. The quintessential PS1 game got a makeover when it moved to PSP, with beautiful new cutscenes and a whole bevvy of new quests. The game is now available for a 50% discount on amazon.com -- $20. If you missed out on this title last year, this may be a good time to jump.

The price says 28.67 :(

That's from some other seller. The $20 deal from Amazon.com is under "More buying options" or whatever. I just bought mine along with a 2 GB SD memory card for $32 total with super saver shipping.

Unless I'm mistaken, it only shows as 28% off, for a total sales price of $28.67. Still a good deal, but not that good of a deal.

Hmm, mine came to $24 with shipping and tax. I ordered mine before this became news on here though.

I checked again, it now shows it right but also says the price decreased and it was from amazon.com and not another seller where it says that.

I wouldn't pay a dime for this rip-off of a game. Biggest dissapointment in my life.

Not worth it. Terrible graphics. Boring gameplay.
You'd be better off with Jeanne D'arc or Metal Gear Acid 2 (turn based strategy games).

or Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness. I've been firmly entrenched in that game since Christmas...

Jeanne is good, but keep in mind that this was a remake with much better graphics than the original. If Squeenix made a new SJRPG for the PSP, it'd be much better than this.
Though really, how good of graphics are you expecting from an SRPG? I have Jeanne and it's quite good, but I wouldn't say it's hugely better than this, unless you're talking about the in game cut scenes?
I think ultimately, this is an SRPG for Final Fantasy fans because part of the fun is recognizing some of the accepted universe wide mechanics and characters.

A decent game (so far) that I was lucky enough to pick up for $15 at a Best Buy during a small sale.
