This is really cool if you are a big NBA gamer like me though. Personally, I'm loyal to 2k sports, so I'm hoping they take a queue from this and update more than one lazy time a year!

I'm waiting for continuous automated player rating changes from season to season during online leagues with rollover rosters....that would be the hotttness.

could have told you about this ages ago did a survey where it was asking how interested i would be in paying for up to date stats guessed it would be ea that were behind it. expect to pay either a one off fee or a monthly subscription as per the survey

True...if their gameplay doesn't improve, stuff like this will be irrelevant. 2k has been way better for years now.

That's cool and all. But if the core gameplay is as crappy as NBA Live has been for the past few years, it doesn't matter how fancy you get updating stats.

i have to admit this sounds REALLY cool... but i refuse to buy EA games cuz of the whole annoying server issue... plus this doesn't seem like enough of a reason to skip 2k9 (which i hope is detailed at e3)
