What a glorious day.
We can pick up Gears of War 2 on our way home from voting for Barack Obama.

Still no announcement of a GEARS OF WAR2 bundle, eh? :(
If not, I guess I'll go pick up that Elite instead of holding off. At least then, I could get a little practice in on GOW1 before xFenix(and whoever else on this site rides that game as rampant as I do with MGS)mudhole-stomps my ass in it.
LoL

Proof that videogames and other forms of media keep us dumbed down. If we all invested as much time on politics as we do on videogames we would have either voted for Ron Paul or Dennis Kucinich. Flip flopping = lying.

Re: It's the WHITE house not the BLACK house
Reply #2 - 04/11/07 at 09:53:00 Quote I'm sure obama will not win very many votes. I think he's going to be in for a bit of an embarrassment when the number of votes comes in. It's pretty obvious that he set himself up for failure a long time ago when he decided to become a civil rights lawyer. This is America, the land of the free, the melting pot. You can't have a racist black man in the white house, dwelling on imaginary "persecution" of black people that exists only in his imagination. Also, he pretty much screwed his last chances of ever getting elected for a second term as senator when his wife got up and called obama her "baby's daddy". Not to mention the silly nonsense obama's been spouting at all of his campaign parties. For instance, he said that the "lives of all the soldiers who died in Iraq were wasted". O come on obama, put up your dukes, I am ready to fight you for saying that about our war heroes.

First...
"lochak" obviously doesn't speak for all Americans.
Second...
Any hint of a 'point' or 'opinion' he was trying to make obviously fell pretty hard on its face just with the opening and quite ignorant comments made initially... almost to the point where I thought about ignoring the remainder of the comment. But hey, I had a free moment, and read the rest... and sure enough, I wasted that free moment. If you're going to make a point like that, I'd love to see a source cited. Frankly, it looks like narrow-minded & petty bigotry otherwise.

Who says Obama was our first choice? I sure as hell would have taken Kucinich, although Ron Paul is a bit too much of a nutjob.
He's still a vastly better choice than McCain in every way.

As I've said several times before. November 9th is a special promotional event much like Emergence Day that has some significance to the GOW canon. Emergence day was 2 days after the release of Gears of War, or maybe 3, either way it was on a sunday.

Election day is the first tuesday in nov, which makes it nov 4. It's a good thing too. Imagine how many people would forget to vote because they were stomping locusts.
