Downloaded it, played about 25 min and my first impression is "meh". I'm having trouble figuring out how to melee fight. Graphics aren't all that impressive and I HATE the camera. But I do like fighting with the right stick eh. Guess I gotta spend some more time with it and figure out the fighting and we'll see I guess.

the problem is that everyone is used to using the right stick for changing the view... using it for combat throws everyone off.
Still, the idea of Diablo in a Sci-Fi Norse Mythology sounds worth persevering for a while...

This demo cemented all of my early impressions about this game. Dennis Dyack can whine to every forum in existence, but his game is still terrible no matter how he tries to spin it.

Graphics are not very good. 360 standard, but nothing wow. Framerate is not very smooth. Animations are bad: You will notice that since the beggining.
Camera is not very good. The combat system is actually good, but it was very easy... I mean, combat was fun, but very repetitive.
But... I'm not saying that the game will suck or anything. Im sayinf that the demo is bad. Maybe the final game will be a lot better.

I'm gonna dl it too when I get home. Still gotta try it for myself. I see a lot of mixed feelings on it. Some say they love it and some say its meh. Oh well this game is one of the ones that got cut from my purchase list anyway. I'll still try it to see if its worth rental. I hear from a E3 hands-on IGN preview that Fallout 3 is exceptional. Hell yes, cant wait!

Maybe, Marty, just maybe the problems that IGN had are similar to Fernando's. Maybe they're playing the same game and both getting the same issues. Maybe it's that. Obviously, however, Fernando didn't play the Too Human demo, instead he just reworded the IGN pre-review. That's what he does with his time. Lies about playing free demos.

I really don't know but for some reason there is a pretty large group of fans who are salavating at the thought of this game. Maybe it's because they are SilconeKnights, maybe because they liked the idea I don't know, but they are real. Hence all the comotion this game has raised over the past year or so.

I'm not a huge fanboy, having known next-to-nothing about the game before playing the demo.
but once I figured out the thumbstick combat system, I really liked the demo, and I'll be buying.
this seems like a love, hate or "hate" game. some folks will love it, some folks will genuinely hate it, and some will "hate" it just to spite Denis Dyack.

Fairly "meh". Controls/fighting fiddly, camera sucks, graphics ok. Moves are pretty cool, but suffer from Warrior-Within syndrome (why learn off move combination when tapping buttons has the same effect?).

I remember you could get by in Warrior Within with a few basic combos (X,X,Y) some blocking and a bit of jumping, yet the game described a lot of moves and combos that were rarely necessary.

I just finished the demo. I really loved it. Gameplay is really nice. graphics are ok. but if ur not a graphics whore u should be alright. I really enjoyed the skill tree and just the shear amount of loot. I got a shit ton just from teh 2hrs playing. i cant imagine actually putting time in the game and seeing what u get.
Camera was a bit of a bitch sometimes. but its not so bad u can't adjust to it. Over all really worth buying

Everyone saying the game sucks has either never liked Dungeon crawlers like Diablo, Baldur's Gate, or just playing doesn't like the genre. This is a testament of the genre, and just what the Xbox360 needed as a refreshment.

I think Dennis' problem is that there are a lot of people out there who didn't try it, and never will, but will still act like it's the worst game in the world.

Nah, it sucks. Camera is horrible, combat is honestly pretty boring, and i found myself laughing rather than taking the story seriosuly, which i find is the game's biggest flaw. Without a good story, $20 clearance for me.

I enjoyed it. The graphics weren't impressive but it was not why I wanted to play the game. It was fun but though it is something I probably need to get used to the controls did not always feel responsive in the way that I thought that they should. It took me approx. 45 minutes to get through.
