Going out on a limb here but...

In comedy.."blue" is used to refer to more "adult" themed jokes. Based on the news leaked earlier that a new Halo game may be in the works that is "darker, grittier" akin to the Neil Blomkamp shorts, perhaps "blue" is code for that.

While I really didn't consider the Blomkamp shorts to be super gritty or anything, I guess they are more "grown up" than the Halo series to date?

Just a thought.

Some people are a little confused about this. The Halo franchise belongs to Microsoft, so it will never go anywhere else unless Microsoft says so. However, Bungie can still make games for other consoles. Microsoft just gets first dibs. If they reject an idea that's pitched to them, Bungie can take it somewhere else.

After reading all of the rumors about Halo Blue coming to shelves in September and the speculation about what it is all about, I have deduced that Halo Blue is a Squad Tactical Shooter.

How did I come to this conclusion?

After reading all of the books and being a big fan of the HALO universe I remembered that there was a squad talked about in Halo: Fall Of Reach called Blue Squad. The squad consisted of the spartan 2's and included the main focus of the current HALO trilogy John 117. So the blue HALO Blue means that you will play as Blue Squad from the HALO universe

I work at wal-mart too! i seen the same Thing (halo blue) i was trying to figure out what it is! im thinking halo wars for some reason.

Guys, its no random object. If you look at the unzoomed area, you see that "Halo Blue" is aligned with the words "Microsoft" and "Shooter".

Also, I believe the theory that Blue refers to the Blue Team stranded on Onyx. I believe there are around 6-7 left. There's Fred, Linda, Kelly, Will, and the Gamma Spartan-III's right? Or did I forget who died. :/
