Screw exclusive DLC. It's par for the course now. MS tries to get major play from it, now Sony too. and Activision seems to be working it harder than anyone.

How about just delivering good games to customers who want to buy them instead of engaging in shenanigans?

That certainly doesn't sound like puzzle gameplay. That sounds like "find all the different coloured keys before the door will open." We did that in Doom.

Exclusive content matters for games that aren't over a year old. This is a silly stab in the dark, and if Sony spent any money on it, they should try to get it back. They're obviously spending on the wrong things.

Did Sony themselves downplay the importance of Exclusive Downloadable content? lol@them

Plus, I'm sure the PC version, at the least, will get this eventually.

This is probably the funniest thing in this thread because GTA 4 is gonna be at least 6 months old when it gets any exclusive content and probably a year or more old when the second batch shows up. But old Marty will be splooging all over that since it's 360 content. Such a sad little fanboy.

Was that sarcasm? I personally didn't enjoy Bioshock all that much, but even if I did, I'd find it hard to believe you could compare one single game, to what's arguably the biggest videogame series of all time.

Too bad more people don't see the way you do. Sony fanboys are acting like it's the end of the world even though they still get the play the game in the end.

I WAS excited at the prospect of downloadable content for Bioshock UNTIL I read this article. I'm not interested in little puzzle scenarios. Frankly, I was expecting more areas to the main game or another chapter to the story.

Yeah, I'd say I'm disappointed.

My only complaint with the 360 Bioshock was that there was no penalty for dying, which made it seem kinda pointless if you ask me. I realize there was a DLC to fix that, but I don't have the money to get internet on the 360. Will that particular feature be int the PS3 version?

You're upset because I'm able to form my own opinion rather than base it on the praise of advertisement funded reviews? People are sheep, lemmings, take your pick of animal. No doubt 90 percent of the people who praise this game didn't form their own opinion based on playing the game.

The game is a chore, the gunplay is appalling, the enemies are generic and did I mention it was a chore to play? Sorry I'm just bitter I spent $39.99 at CompUSA on a Sunday sale a week after it released on a digital version of everything I don't want to be doing. I just didn't find a damn thing fun about the game.

So please excuse me if I don't share your obsession for this sub-par shooter.

Not to say some people didn't genuinely love the game, I'm sure there are quite a few. I also think it was just their rotation in the spotlight, and that the actual game wasn't deserving of the praise and admiration it received. In any case I'm done watching House for today, so I'm going to go spend some quality time with a video game of my choice.

Bioshock was a mindless shooter with as much depth as Doom.

Oh, wait. Doom had more than 2 enemy types.

Xbots? What an endearing term. If you've ever been around Joystiq you'd know I've always had a foul taste in my mouth from the time I spent with this shallow game. The game isn't good; don't waste your money on it. This is from one gamer to another, an honest and objective "opinion." Funny, objective opinion has to be some sort of oxymoron.

@AntiCrawl

Now it just looks like you are imposing yourself as a Xbot. Good game or bad game is subjective. I remember playing it on the Xbox so I can sure as say this will be a bit better bargain to get it on the Ps3.

And remember...Appreciate Intellectual Story Line like MGS4 and Assassins Creed.

I'm not a fan of any system; they all have their positives and negatives. What I am a fan of is the games and the quality of said games. You just can't handle the fact that one person doesn't grovel at the feet of a mediocre game like Bioshock. Sure the story was somewhat interesting, but games are supposed to be a bit heavier on the interactive entertainment. If you want a great story without the joy of interaction read a book, I read books, they can be quite pleasant. The game was a terrible game, and that is my honest opinion. I've never stated it as fact; perhaps you're the one who should read more.

You're not honestly implying Assassins Creed or MGS4 have intellectual plots, are you?

Because really, neither of those games dabble remotely into the game of making you or anyone else playing them think about what the hell is going on.

Well, maybe MGS4, but that's only because the writing was convoluted as hell.
