Chainsaws! Dirt bikes! Giant hammers! Tentacles! These two Resident Evil 5 videos from E3 has them all. The first one features half gameplay and half cinematics; new enemy types are shown, and a whole bunch of explosions. Of course, you've got that dude with the crazy voice (he sounds sort of like Meowth, no?) in the beginning warning you of that. The second one showcases a first to the main Resident Evil games: online co-op. The much-anticipated feature is demonstrated after the jump:
Both members of a group called BSAA sent to Africa to investigate an incident, Chris Redfield and Sheva Alomar must survive with each other's help. The video begins with Chris reaching a destroyed balcony he cannot cross. Sheva Alomar is then introduced -- she reaches Chris who promptly throws her over to a nearby building. Sheva begins fighting off enemies in the front lines as Chris assists her with a sniper rifle. When the enemies are cleared, a gate is unlocked and they encounter a chainsaw boss, which looks to be a version of one from Resident Evil 4.
