Wow.

I WANT THIS GAME SO MUCH.

I never had an SNES, nor a N64, so being able to play this game is awesome! I have actually watched and read about the original for a long time, and have been wanting to play it! Now I can!

Squeak Squad is one of my favorite Kirby games, why would you leave that title in the cold?

I agree that Canvas Curse was creative and awesome, but I have more fun playing Squeak Squad. It felt very close to Kirby Superstar and I had an absolute blast playing through to 100%.

Why is King DDD in part of it? Is he a playable character? at one point Kirby appeared to be running away from him, but at another he touched and overtook him, as if he was an ally.

It's a part of the Gourmet Race game - Kirby and Dedede race to see who can OM NOM NOM NOM the best.

I like Kirby, but a few years ago I got burned by Nightmare in Dream Land (beat in 4 hours, I believe), and have since been afraid of being ripped off again. I know this promises to be fun, but do any of you resident Kirby experts/aficionados see anything that seems to indicate that this also promises to be a satisfactorily-long experience? I'd love to return to the fold, but I just need this one major reservation assuaged first.

Kirby Super Star is the grand opus of the Kirby series. It's an utterly fantastic game that hasn't been surpassed by any game that came after it (though they were all pretty decent), and it was the last game where the original Kirby creator, Masahiro Sakurai, was involved. It's, by all accounts, brilliant, imaginative, and epic, the only flaw being that it's too easy - an obvious thing, considering the main target audience - but still, it's the one game I keep coming back to, in all of these years.

i have always enjoyed the Kirby games ever since I first got into the franchise on the GBA. the adorable graphics, the whimsical music, the gameplay, and the idea that Kirby, as the defender of Dreamland, gets to eat other inhabitants of Dreamland to take their power and save the kingdom from... er.. whatever he's saving it from this time around! Cute, cartoony, and cannibalistic. definitely a winner in my book.

Superstar was the first kirby game that I ever played (come to think of it, it was the first video game I played)...
Since then, I've never been able to find another kirby game to match it.
I'm extremely happy that it's coming out for ds!
I was hoping for a Virtual Console release, but frankly, this is better.
I... can't... wait!
