Ghostbusters gets new E3 video
See, times haven't been so good for your buddy Ernie. And when you buy something that says Ghostbusters on it, I get some money. In the biz, we call it a "residual." I know what you're saying: "Ernie, isn't it a bit troubling that around half the trailer is just clips from the movies?" Listen, what part of "hard times" do you not understand?

Haha, looks funny :)

Ummm.... that was about 75% live film footage. That was idiotic.
shamowfski @ Jul 15th 2008 9:37AM
Actually, 76% of the clip is game-play footage (all though some of that does have movie footage playing adjacent to it.) The clip is ~1:55 and I timed ~28 seconds of screen-dominating movie clips. I actually wrote a quick program to time mouse-clicks, instead of just eyeballing it.

haha Nerd.
Nah, nice job. Any film footage is too much for me.
kaneda @ Jul 15th 2008 10:08PM
yes. only a nerd would use math to prove a dumbass wrong.

Hey, games industry, you listening?
Just make LEGO Ghostbusters and go on vacation or something...it's ALL we need.
hans @ Jul 15th 2008 9:56AM
wow this looks like garbage. this a shame.
Miguel @ Jul 15th 2008 10:12AM
Doesnt't Sony own the Ghostbusters brand via Columbia Pictures? Why would Sony release it on 360?
I guess this would apply to Spiderman too?
(Not trying to start a fanboy war just asking.)
Derick @ Jul 15th 2008 1:16PM
Cause they want to make sure SOMEBODY buys the game...
and limiting their product to less than 50% of the market just seems retarded.
someone has to pay for the gaping wound that Sony is bleeding Bluray out of.
Gamerschoice @ Jul 15th 2008 6:23PM
...And it would also apply to James Bond. Please someone tell me that they noticed the more than just product placement in Casino Royale.
Miguel @ Jul 15th 2008 9:39PM
I dont think Sony owns the 007 IP. They distributed the last movie but I dont think they own the IP.
ChuckD @ Jul 15th 2008 10:21AM
I can only repeat: please, please, please be good.
If it's not good yet, hold it back. Make it good. We'll wait. Really we will.
Dralthi @ Jul 15th 2008 10:38AM
Why do I get the feeling that I would've enjoyed this game about 20 years ago?
This video just lowered my interest in this game.
Grover Saunders @ Jul 15th 2008 10:51AM
Dude, Ernie Hudson works a lot. More than Dan Akroyd at this point.
