Microsoft press conference bingo results

Ohhhh, you thought we all won the Microsoft co-op prediction bingo game? Nope, we're all failures. See, the rules were that the things on the card had to be mentioned during the press conference and, although many things on here came to fruition, they didn't fall within the rules of the game. Feel free to play along with Nintendo and Sony tomorrow. After the break we've added links for boxes crossed off and added another card with all pre-conference items crossed off as well -- bad news, we're still all losers.

The breakdown (from left to right and going down):

Community Games wasn't highlighted, but it was in there.

MS really blew it, letting down our expectations. No Alan Wake news? I don't even know what that game is but I keep hearing it's the greatest thing since sliced bread, and no updates? That means it's delayed until winter 2009, right?

The 5 player co-op should count for the 4 player as technically I'm sure you can do it with 4. If you wouldn't have been so picky with the details.

I don't know if they mentioned it at the conference, but the Too Human is out on XBox Live now. Downloaded it while I was at work but haven't had a chance to try it yet - looking at trailers...

Wait a sec, what was the secret Rare game? All I saw was some Banjo-Kazooey footage...wasn't that for XBL, some port of the original? Or are they making a new, HD, one (ugh)? Why can't the secret game have been Goldeneye 360?

I don't understand why the 60 gig harddrive was not mentioned on the keynote. Because if MS is serious about pushing this digital service they need space and lots of it. As far as media wars goes I still think PS3 is nr 1 with blue ray player and 3rd party hard drives support. MS need to step up and get some things done here.

Otherwise I missed Killer Instinct 3, new Halo game and the new game from Bungie on the show. Hopefully more info on all this will come later this year. Maybe for X08? They will still have that yes?
