Valve reveals new cast for Left 4 Dead

At the Electronic Arts press conference, Valve's Gabe Newell revealed that Left 4 Dead sports a new cast of main characters. Here's your quartet, shown above, with bigger pictures in the galleries. Left 4 Dead will leave you stranded in November.

All the characters look good except for the buffed guy over there, he seems out of place. With that I mean he looks like the guy that will be turned into a zombie in matter of seconds.

Here is a question for everybody:

You are in the middle of a zombie outbreak, you can be eaten or turn into zombie. The last one happens when you expose your flesh; now why the fluck would anyone use a sleeveless shirt?

Seriously in case of Zombie outbreak wear heavy clothing, human teeth aren’t that strong also unless you are a guy who runs in the marathon every Sunday you probably won’t escape a fast zombie so mobility is out of the question.

Seriously though, wtf is with sleeveless...is he just supposed to be that much of a bad-ass? Weird...you know in the films he'd get zombie-raped in a hurry.

They all look pretty good. It has all the character archetypes that one would expect from a survival horror movie/game (Geek guy, military dude, old-veteran man, and tough chick). Since I'm Valve whore, I'll probably buy this day one.

Gears of war 2 plus zombies and the Xbox 360 will explode in awesomeness.

Ah well, still looks cool. Is this the prelude to the much needed graphical bump? It came a long way before Valve adopted it, but maybe now it'll get properly polished!

Aren't they just reskins of the old characters? Does this mean you can choose your character's clothes or is this just new design?

If so, I liked them better before. Bikers need a beard.

Damn...I'm kind of disappointed they got rid of the biker dude with the beard and the long hair.

That guy looked like a cool character.

The new cast looks like a nice rainbow of characters now though!
