Wii Sports Resort coming to the Wii, with MotionPlus in tow

Nintendo has announced Wii Sports Resort, a sequel of sorts to the most popular title on the best selling console system this generation. It will include the previously announced Wii Motion Plus controller, and allow players to experience a fun "day at the beach" -- there will be a frisbee game, as well as a jetskiing experience, and a... sword dueling game?

Nintendo plans to replicate the success of Wii Sports and Wii Play, and throw in a new accessory with the pack as well. The game is set for a release in spring of next year.

mmm...mediocre mini-games now with essentially the accuracy you would have expected in the first place.
It didn't even seem like reg and friends were having any fun playing the game. They had to force the crap out of those smiles

That was pretty unnecessary. My initial reaction was because I was let down by E3. As you may know, I'm a Nintendo fanboy, perhaps my words were a little too harsh and have offended you in some way. Hopefully the game will be able to generate fun in the sun in real time, otherwise I won't buy this for lack of technological advancement.

Bah, who am I kidding I would have bought this even without the Wii Motionplus because Im such a sucker for Kazumi Totaka's music.

Besides sword fighting, the other two sports look like you could play them without the MotionPlus. I mean the jet ski is just like driving which can be done with the regular wiimote and the frisbee can be done just like throwing a baseball or a bowling ball. No ?
