Uncharted: Drake's Fortune developer Naughty Dog tells us that a patch to add PlayStation Trophy support to the game will be available by mid-August. Company co-president Evan Wells says that the update has already been submitted for quality assurance testing and could hit sooner.
According to Wells, the patch was "incredibly easy" to implement because the game already contains preliminary support for Trophies via its Medals reward system. He further revealed that these hooks were actually included because Naughty Dog thought Sony would roll out Trophies before Uncharted's November 2007 launch.
As with other PS3 titles getting retroactive Trophy support, Uncharted will require those who've already completed the game to play through again in order to unlock Trophies, even if they had previously earned every Medal. Wells says this is primarily to prevent people from simply using someone else's save data to artificially bolster their Trophy collection. Shame on you for even thinking about it.

Beat it, don't really feel like playing it again, eh maybe. The zombies were retarded.

Well I really love Uncharted so far I've finished two times and I really enjoyed collecting all the treasures.
So once we have the Trophies thing of course I'm gonna played a third time.
And as a side note I guess everyone has its own opinion but I really liked the twist in the history when you find the Zombies.

How about a new game, NaughtyDog? You're Sony's best first party developer, and while Uncharted was all kinds of awesome, Insomniac's going to have two Resistances and a Ratchet and a half under its belt by year's end! You and Team ICO were all I wanted to see at E3--a new Jak, another Uncharted, SOMETHING. My heart was left in pieces.

Who is sad enough to do that? And even if they are people like that, do we really give a shit about the size of their dick-hats?
For some reason I don't think that Trophies will be as welcome as achievements once were.

I think trophies will be whored about as badly as achievements. Perhaps a little less since there is no equivalent to gamerscore.
But you know what? I'm with you. Who cares? They're playing for their own benefit. If they find copying save games to get trophies to be fun, then that's fine for them. I don't find it fun, and that's fine for me.

There is though, you get levels. The more trophies you get the higher your level becomes. Basically the same thing.

Oh, yes. I played through it once, but didn't really bother to collect the objects, or medals. Will definitely have to re-play this.
Oh and @deaftly, completely agree about the zombies. I kinda felt it was coming, but then when it did happen I was like, well, this sucks.

Perfect !!
I was only on the "second" level, and I stopped playing cause of the holiday rush of 360 games. Back to Uncharted and to pass it once this hits :)

I better stop playing it then. I'm almost halfway through, but got distracted by Mass Effect and R&C. I actually was about to play it again last night. But yea, I kind of want a new Jak also.

Got all medals except for the last one where you have to beat it on crushing mode. I got 61/60 treasures, yes there is an egg treasure from Jak & Daxter games. I loved this game and the zombies were fine by me...added a plot twist. Second game will be way better I think snce they have more time to develop it and refine the engine...who knows maybe the next story will be about finding some pirate treasure.
