Uncharted getting Trophy support by mid-August

We've known for some time now that Naughty Dog's incredible fan-favorite Uncharted is getting Trophy support via an upcoming patch. However, we haven't heard of a time frame ... until now. An interview with Joystiq reveals that the patch was "incredibly easy" to implement because the game "already contains preliminary support fro Trophies via its Medals rewards system." However, don't expect to get any Trophies retroactively ... you're going to have to earn them all over again. (Considering how good the game is, we won't complain!)

Interestingly, Naughty Dog's Evan Wells included these "hooks" for Trophy support because the team believed Sony would implement the feature before the launch of Uncharted last November. Guess those guys were a bit too foward-thinking. Regardless, we can't wait to boost our PlayStation Level.

Warhawk is not getting trophies today. That patch still has no set date.

Unfortunately he's right, 1.5 contains the trophies update for Warhawk. They have said that 1.5 is currently in QA and will be released the second it's ready. They know we want trophies, and they're delivering.

You gotta wonder about Konami at this point though. They talked up trophy support in MGS4 then fell silent on it. What are they doing over there?

I love this game !!! I will play it again and again and again !!! My only hope is that other companies will support this feature on their old games... to respect the gamers (clients!)

Man I love playing through Uncharted. I cant wait for Uncharted 2.

best game ever! first game i played twice (i play videogames since 1983!). i have to play it again, i think!

Aw, I just got the final medal yesterday. I doubt I'll want to go through the trouble of completing the game on Crushing again. Although who knows, if I can get the medals using one-shot kills.

I have no problem playing this great game again. Time to up the difficulty level!

I've had this game on my shelf for months and just never got around to popping it in. I finally did the other day and really regret not starting sooner. But now that I've waited this long, perhaps I should wait still for Trophy support. Even if a game is awesome I rarely ever go through them more than once.

Man, I sure wish it was sooner then this.

SSHD is good and all, but I need some more games for Trophies, ASAP!!

If Burnout Paradise can do retroactive trophies because of the way the save game is structured, then they should have no problem making retroactive trophies for Uncharted. I've been wanting to give it another play through anyway, but I still think they should give trophies for what we've accomplished so far. Especially since the "hooks" are already in place.

Ummm Burnout saves through your PSN ID. Uncharted saves straight to the HDD. Notice how you cant copy your Burnout save files but you can copy your Uncharted save files.

I would have to assume that all new games will have them moving forward.
