Let me blow all of your minds, after watching the trailer like three times I'm asking you. What If:
-The reason you can see the black skybox during the nuke at the beginning is that this is an actual in-game effect with dynamic HDR lighting?
-The Duke 3D nuclear symbol and all the fonts are real time bump mapped rendering of metal with crumpled paint and so on
-The sick gun shooting the mask dudes is the standard sidearm
-The guys with the gas masks look like Combine from Half-Life² because the game will be on Steam
-The "hiring" post on the 3DRealms blog a month ago brought them a new XboX360 programmer and some more incentive to go gold somewhere around 2025.
Either some of that or my brain has melted from so much involuntary awesomeness. Don't you know how hard it is to make a lame ass shitty trailer if you are actually pretty good at what you are doing? (And Prey was pretty fucking sweet).
