Not kidding, picking weeds is what got me into Animal Crossing... I started up a game of it my Sr year of high school, played like 3 minutes then quit. I came back two years later... found my town (after resetti chewed me up and spit me out) littered with weeds. I probably spent more than an hour picking weeds.... but it was so relaxing! Animal Crossing is just one of those games that you can lose yourself in :)

I personally prefer capitalist pursuits in AC:WW, such as planting a massive orchard to harvest and sell valuable foreign fruit or hoarding turnips and monitoring the market for the chance to upsell. Completing my dinosaur fossil collection was fun, if only so I could sell repeat archaeological finds.

Routine town maintenance and organization were things I practiced, too, but I never enjoyed socializing with the animals of the town.

There's one very big thing you can do with Animal Crossing: Wild World that you all seem to be forgetting. You can turn it into a sick, twisted horror story about a young boy named Billy.

Seriously, read if you haven't seen it before. It's amazing.
