If you made the argument that the Wii didn't need anymore side-scrolling shooters, you would be silly. One of the reasons I am still very happy with my Wii is that it is such a great system for shmups. Bring on Gradius ReBirth!

That's really cool! This is the first WiiWare/VC game I've been genuinely excited about in awhile now. Gradius III is a wonderful shooter experience - certainly one of my favorites. I'm eagerly awaiting this new entry into the series.

Maybe this will play like Gaiden? It certainly looks like Gaiden.

If it plays like Gaiden, I will buy it 5 times.

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! I played the CRAP out of Gradius III on the SNES. I'd like to find out if I still got my chops.

AW. Being a WiiWare hater is harder now. Seriously, Gradius Rebirth sounds amazing. Won't be as amazing if it's available on the other consoles, but amazing nonetheless.
