@Arttemis: Ah, yes. I forgot to paste that in.
@Shmil: Actually, I did have to have my sister help me sometimes, but I have pretty big hands and I got to where I could do it with just my own fingers:

Right thumb: C-buttons
Right ring finger: R
Right index finger: L
Left index finger (the side of the finger): Left Pad
Left middle finger: Z
Left thumb: Analog Stick

And that, I'm sure, is more than you ever wanted to know. :-)

I like the perfect shot design, I have 2 but the stiff trigger SERIOUSLY starts to hurt after even the first level of zombie killing (house of the dead).

Also the boxy handle isn't too comfortable. So far there isn't a perfect solution for a light gun on the wii (which after a year and a half is a shame) but nyko's perfect shot comes the closest (and by comparison this rip-off i guess).

I dunno, that Pelican Duo Shot is looking better than all the competition simply because it has a trigger for the A button as well.

You can stop right there. Anything else you can possibly say to me has been rendered useless for the rest of your life.

@JFK AOK

excuse me? What's so bad about the design of the perfect shot? The trigger they designed (which pushes the button on the bottom of the remote) is about as effective as a solution for $12 can get (from dell.ca).

A lot better than most of the other light gun addons on the market which don't even offer a spring trigger.

Anyway it does the job pretty well, uncomfortable but better than any other design.

I've heard bad things about this one. I'll stick with the Perfect Shot as my piece of plastic that I almost never use.

This fucked up comment system happened. Give it a few hours/days/weeks/millennia (depending on how the comment system FEELS today) and your comment'll display with a bit of reliability.

When you post a comment it tags on a # with other stuff on it. To see if your post actually worked, you have to just erase the # and anything to the right.

Even more fun than actually buying and using the thing, is reading the comments at Amazon.com, where the twits who bought it were downvoting it because it didn't work with games like Call of Duty and Metroid. Hurrrrr

Okay, Joystiq, this is getting annoying. It's truly a shame when your site tells me an article has thirteen comments, and I click the name, and then it suddenly has twelve, and I refresh, and it has 21, and refresh again, and it has 17.

Shit is worse than the old system and is in desperate need of a fix.

Actually, there's more to these than just being a piece of plastic. There are moving parts. The Perfect Shot has a passthrough for the nunchuk. The trigger on the Perfect Shot is pretty stiff and squeaks after a lot of use. The zapper has a quick, responsive trigger.

If there was a Perfect Shot with a thinner handle, a trigger more like the zapper, and an actual built-in site so you can align in properly for games that feature configuration, then it would be much closer to perfect. Also a way to insert the wiimote without putting stress on the port when getting it in and out.

As for gun shells as a whole, it makes a difference, not only in feeling more like a gun, but you are aren't hitting a button on the top or bottom to shoot, and throwing off your aim every time you fire. I am all for gun shells.

Does this (or the perfect shot for that matter) have an opening to plug in the nunchuk?

Me: Hello, are you John Smith?

John: Yeah...and who are-

Me: And did you buy the stupid piece of plastic gun-addition for your wii controller on Saturday, July 19th on Amazon.com using a credit card ending with 7782 for 9 dollars? And then bought 20 dollars and 53 cents of junk to qualify for the free shipping?

John: Umm...yeah...wh-

*Pokes John in the eye*
John: OW, what in the world was that for?!
*Turns around and goes to the next address on the list.*

I'll troll here because I feel its worth it: I recommend the Nyko Perfect Shot, but only because thats what *I* own and it looks cooler and reportedly feels heavier with a more springy trigger. It's well worth the $15. I just got it and House of the Dead 2 & 3 and love it.
