Wooooo Elefunk!
Draco Basileus @ Jul 18th 2008 11:10PM
Elefunk rules! And for $5 it's a steal. I love this game!

You mean Rayman 2(Why do Ubi named the console version "Revolution"?).Definitely one of the best platformers ever made.
Still, I'd much rather have them spend this time, developing the new Rayman. This Rabbid spin-off bullshit can FUCK RIGHT OFF!
xFenixKnightx @ Jul 18th 2008 1:01PM
Yup Rayman 2 Revolution. It was the remake for PS2. My cousin had Rayman 2 on DC and I loved it. Bought it later on for PS2 which had new levels. I loved this game and if I remember correctly I pretty much marathoned it on a weekend. Even my wife loved this one.

I bought both rayman and elefunk and both are pretty fun. I kinda suck at elefunk though.
The Naruto demo was also really cool even though I know nothing about the show. The fighting was really fluid though.
Vidikron (FU) @ Jul 18th 2008 12:24PM
I love the original Rayman... and it still looks suprising good. I played for a while last night.
Didn't have time to try out Elefunk, though I did download the demo.

Yeah that Naruto game is pretty damn slick. I have watched the show in the past and it is a pretty decent show. The most impressive thing is that the game looks exactly like the anime does.
Jakka @ Jul 18th 2008 12:21PM
I'd rather have Ubi get of their asses and make a real Rayman sequel than milking the franchise by releasing PSN ports.
xFenixKnightx @ Jul 18th 2008 12:30PM
Yeah, and Rayman Raving Rabbids is garbage. I want a true platformer damnit!
Vidikron (FU) @ Jul 18th 2008 12:32PM
I'm doubt releasing a version for an emulator tied up too many resources.
Nate @ Jul 18th 2008 12:57PM
I think we need more PS1 ports not less. Given that it probably only takes 1 or 2 developers to produce such a port, it's not exactly a huge drain on the company as a whole.
Josh @ Jul 18th 2008 12:43PM
I think there's no add-on content with this update, even though the post here on Joystiq says there is.
j.howlett @ Jul 18th 2008 1:19PM
that did have me wondering
Josh @ Jul 19th 2008 3:13PM
Looks like it's been fixed now.
Courtney @ Jul 18th 2008 1:23PM
I tried the demo for Elefunk last night, it's interesting. At $5, it seems like it's probably worth picking up (but I've got like 5 other games I'm playing right now, so probably don't need another yet).
epinephrine @ Jul 18th 2008 1:34PM
Where is Bionic Commando: Rearmed? I'm ready for it, since it's been done for months now.
Arturo @ Jul 18th 2008 1:36PM
no wipeout hd: fail (yes i already know the recent events regarding the game, i just can't get over my disappointment)
dark_inchworm @ Jul 18th 2008 3:18PM
I want a Rayman platformer with Rabbids, dammit.
Please?
Eggy @ Jul 18th 2008 5:34PM
"Starship Troopers 3: Marauder"
That is one ghastly movie. ST1 had a decent budget and looked decent in the SFX department. This one looks crap and has even worse acting.
Crazylink @ Jul 18th 2008 7:20PM
I'd pay for Rayman 2 on VC. It's still my favorite 3D platformer. In my mind Rayman 2 > Super Mario 64
TheQuagster @ Jul 18th 2008 7:37PM
I still have the original and best Rayman on my playstation. I played it about a week ago, and I couldn't believe how stupid the Ubisoft logo was. I'm glad they changed it, but their new one is still stupid. It looks like a bunch of circles together.
mcj @ Jul 22nd 2008 10:17AM
Elefunk is actually pretty fun. My son loves it.
