Although we'd gotten used to three songs being added every week to Rock Band's music store, Harmonix told us this week a little bit more could become the norm as the developer pushes to have 500 songs by the end of the year. This week, the band Trent Reznor built and Shinedown add some songs to the library.
Nin Pack(440 MS points / $5.49) -- Also sold seperately (160 MS Points / $2)
"Burn"
"Capital G"
"Last"
Individual Shinedown tracks (160 MS points / $2)
"Devour"
"Junkies For Fame"
Videos for the tracks can be found after the break. The consoles return to a regular DLC schedule next week (following this week's Tuesday release of The Who pack), with songs being available next Tuesday and Thursday on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 respectively.
Always good to have more NIN but where's Head Like a Hole? I'll have to listen to that other Shinedown song but I like Devour a lot so this is definitely a good week for me.
Last is one of my favorite NIN songs ever. The entire Broken album would be a great addition to rock band, very "rock" based NIN, and it's a shorter album, so it would be cheaper than the $20 Dolittle download. WOOOO!
I agree completely. Last is awesome, as is most (if not all) of Broken. But if we are getting a NIN full album DLC I'd want Pretty Hate Machine. Every song on that album is badass.
That still doesn't make sense grammatically. I think you meant to say "half-way" instead of "anyway". Or at least I think that's what you meant. The sentence is confusing. I'm usually not a grammar nazi, just don't rip the guy a new one for requesting clarification, albeit in an agressive manner.
I really need to get Rock Band. But since NIN is DLC, I think I'll wait for RB2. I think I mentioned this a while back, but this game really needs some Electric Six.
As you can see, I'm very confused here... An emo troll, I guess. That's nice.
Or maybe it was a joke? About what, I'm sure I don't know. Random poking-fun-at-emo sessions are always nice, but, generally speaking, some sort of contextual reason is usually presented first. I'm afraid it simply wasn't funny to me, if it was in fact an attempt at humor.
God I never heard of those Shinedown guys. Its crap. How come most of these bands sound like they sing in the background of Coors Light commercials. Is there actually a name to this style of music. Eck.
Some of Shinedowns earlier stuff is decent, but their new CD is bland and uninteresting. Also, I think the reason that Pretty Hate Machine is not in Rock Band is due to there not being a lot of guitar in it. It contains mostly synth and vocals. That being said, I would still buy Pretty Hate Machine if it were released in Rock Band.
Sweet more NIN. And a song from Year Zero? NEVER would've seen that coming. Although the vocals in Capital G will be fun mostly the beginning. And a song from Broken!? And BURN!?
