This just in: Some completely irrevelant rumor that has nothing to do with the post and is also bullshit that doesn't cite any sources to support its claims!

Killjebus is back?
FUCK!
J @ Jul 22nd 2008 10:13PM
ok... ok. it was irrelevant. But if it's true, i'm definitely glad he shared it with us.
At least it's not something lame like news about the wii getting an exclusive sonic game.
Tiptup300 @ Jul 23rd 2008 12:21AM
This story poses one question:
How was Guitar Hero III for the ps2 allowed to be released!?
bm @ Jul 23rd 2008 12:41PM
Haha oh god that article killwhatever linked to looks like some 12 year old's idea of a great prank.
run n gun 26 @ Jul 22nd 2008 8:02PM

Then spasm out of the kitchen.

LunarAura @ Jul 22nd 2008 8:06PM
Those damn epileptics, holding back our games. >:(
ANTCEP @ Jul 22nd 2008 8:06PM
why cant theey just release it with a warning saying "IF YOU HAVE EPILEPSY DO NOT PLAY THIS!!!"
Einhanderkiller @ Jul 22nd 2008 8:13PM
Because then they would sue. :/
Akamaru @ Jul 22nd 2008 8:14PM
They already have epilepsy warnings printed in the manual! That is the part that ticks me off.
KarlW @ Jul 22nd 2008 8:34PM
Bad move for a number of reasons:
- If you have undiagnosed epilepsy, you could be at risk without knowing it
- You may develop epilepsy at some point in the future, and play the game without realising it
- If it's a strain for epileptics, it's probably dizzying or nausea-inducing to many non-epileptics. A fast-paced game like Wipeout at HD resolutions is a difficult thing to do whilst keeping the game playable (from a health PoV)
- People are stupid. They often ignore warnings, and many will probably play the game despite the warnings. Even though Sony wouldn't have legal liability, they don't want their customers having seizures.
Haggard @ Jul 22nd 2008 8:07PM
Agh! My eyes!
..I think I'm having a 'brainstorm'
CubeGuy @ Jul 22nd 2008 8:51PM

Sheppy (of the Fidlious Clan of Wong) @ Jul 22nd 2008 8:52PM
You open up the door with Negative Aura....
You say the future is murky indeed, I'm sick of hearing gripe....
Phantom @ Jul 22nd 2008 8:08PM
Wait , how do you know if you have epilipsy , I dodn't like the felling I got reading thise post .
superklye @ Jul 23rd 2008 11:21AM
Horrible spelling is often the first sign...
kongkoro @ Jul 22nd 2008 8:08PM
lol it's too bad that wipeout is delayed, but they mosdefinitely have to make sure their game is epileptic seizure free.
side note i love the flashing blog post lol
my EYES!
Wulf @ Jul 22nd 2008 8:13PM
Oh, come on! Just slap your generic warning label on it and ship it FFS!
343 Guilty Fart @ Jul 22nd 2008 8:09PM
Mein eyez!! Zee goggles do nossing!!
Jtenma @ Jul 22nd 2008 8:16PM

Best reference to The Simpsons Ever!
Killjebus @ Jul 22nd 2008 8:10PM
Wtching Dubya speak is damaging to one's intelligence, so why can't we shelve BUSH?
Shaq-Fu @ Jul 22nd 2008 8:17PM
I don't know, but your argument is certainly damaging my intelligence as we speak
J @ Jul 22nd 2008 11:00PM
Dont worry shaqfu. You can't get any dumber.
And you're comments will be just as stupid.
Hey, killjebus... I'm glad you're back, but you're not even trying to make sense anymore. Since I agree with most of your comments, it'd be nice if you tried to be a little more coherent and composed. :)
Killjebus @ Jul 22nd 2008 11:56PM
Sorry J, I'm a bit out of practice...I promise I will get better.
Negativecool @ Jul 22nd 2008 8:10PM
My eyes! Zeh goggles do nah-sing!
kbomb1upc @ Jul 22nd 2008 9:18PM
Oh I'm so sorry, Guilty Fart beat you and you're a minute to late, but here are some nice parting gifts...
Jettic @ Jul 23rd 2008 12:53AM
Actually I'm thinking the way Negative said it makes more sense, Nah-sing is more technically correct then nossing, and Zeh, is more correct than Zee.
+1
Jtenma @ Jul 22nd 2008 8:14PM
I would absolutely hate to see such a promising title get toned down.
I doubt that anyone would get seriously injured from passing lights...but I am no expert on epilepsy.
Also, that is quite clever Mr. Kietzmann...
Kevin @ Jul 22nd 2008 8:17PM
Oh for crying out loud... just make an option in the game!
Do you have epilepsy?
o Yes
o No
Selecting yes leaves the game the way it was made.
Selecting no ejects the disc and tells you to take a nap.
Shaq-Fu @ Jul 22nd 2008 8:26PM
Or you could just play F-Zero. That way everybody wins
Mr.ESC @ Jul 22nd 2008 8:32PM
I'm not here to DIE,You DIE SHAQ FU!
watashishiren Shienzuuu!!!
Mr.ESC @ Jul 22nd 2008 8:44PM
In a generation where all games are either Brown or Grey it would suck to be excluded from one of the few that actually uses colors. Also effects as those can also give headaches to people without epilepsy.
