WHat? Have you ever touched a 360 controller that has wires? Because I sure as fuck haven't.

Well it may have wireless controllers with some packages, but my point was, you need a stinking big wire stuck in the back for broadband, why no wireless broadband and why charge 100 bucks for an ugly attachment for something that should be standard.

Joystiq should have made the article:
"Emmy Award Winning, Business Reporter Mom buys 16 year old son a Mature Rated Game"
Maybe that'll stir up some controversy! Stick all this video game violence media shit right back in their face...

@ Marty earlier on Comment of the Year (TM)

'Seriously though, can we stop this trend where people feel like they can't comment on this stuff without prefacing their comments with "I own both systems, so..."

I don't care if you own both systems, all three, or none. Not all of us want to spend our money on every video game machine available, and we all have the right to an opinion, regardless of what system(s) we own. No need to add this disclaimer to all your comments.'

Well I don't all three systems so, I clearly don't have money to piss away on a PS3 when the 360 has all the games I want. I'm getting a Wii for free later this year to play the 5-10 "hardcore" titles worth getting- the only other thing I need is a DS with Mr Driller's Drill Spirits for those awkward toilet breaks.

My opinion is: if you own all three consoles you've got more money than sense, and at least one of those consoles is gathering dust (YMMV).

I kinda agree. The way i've always worked is to only own Nintendo platforms, and thus i was able to buy all of the games on the platform i wanted (and I rarely wanted for new titles. The only year that was bad for that was 2005 when DS was slowly starting and GC, sans RE4, was more or less dead)

Sure, it's caused me to miss a lot (a great lot, except on the handheld front), but that way i can focus my attention most on the platforms i love best

"if you own all three consoles you've got more money than sense"

That's a pretty broad...not to mention ignorant statement.

Umm...I counter that....actually owning all three probably means I have more sense....which in turn is is why I have more money.

Hence I can afford all 3 systems and all the games I want....while you cannot and are stuck being a fanboy.

Yeah, I see what you did there... very logical! I'm not 'stuck being a fanboy', I DO have the money to buy a PS3 and a Wii. I just bought a Macbook Pro instead. What is the sense in buying a PS3 when the majority of its games are on Xbox 360 and run better on it? Now THAT is truly stupid.

I'm soo glad I have both consoles in this generation, I don't have to worry about which one gets what exclusive. Oh, I also have both handhelds for this generation as well. It took a while for me to get the 360, but now that I do have it I'm free to get every big game released this time around.

I don't care who "wins" the console wars, but this is one of the best written posts ever on Joystiq. Bravo Ludwig.

wow that article sucked balls,so pretty much the 'ultimate proof' that sony is winning the console war is that some 16 yr old kid traded in his xbox?! okay... assuming that MGS4 is a good game, it still doesn't change the fact that a console cant be successful if it only has one game that is fun and exclusive to sony. Especially if its sales are shithouse and every other game that doesnt suck is availible to other consoles.
