C-list celebrities + Gamespot party = Awkward
The latest episode of Glitch in the System makes it horribly obvious that the "celebrities" attending Gamespot's E3 bash had no idea who was hosting the party. That street probably goes both ways because, straight up, we had to Google almost every single one of the "celebrities" that we saw in the video. Check out the cringe-inducing footage o the red carpet interviews after the break.
PS: Thanks again to the 300+ people who attended -- or used astral projection to attend in spirit -- our Joystiq E3 meet-up. Watching something like this makes us appreciate you all even more.

LOL at 'celebrities'.
They should all DIIIEEE and burn in HEEEELLLLLL!!! >:[
Really, I'm sick of those party celebrities...
theturtle363 @ Jul 24th 2008 1:00AM
the only person i recognized was Richard Torres, and maybe one fat guy might be the fat guy on Cold Case
Magetto @ Jul 23rd 2008 11:10PM
hahaha
Chicago Mafia @ Jul 24th 2008 3:07AM
Funny. And I have never heard of any of those "celebrities" except for Vida Guerra.
Wiinterfang @ Jul 24th 2008 8:44PM
Who care about those people?, Vida Guerra is more than enough.
T Krunk @ Jul 25th 2008 3:50PM
Wow, that is one of the saddest things I've ever seen. They make themselves look pretty stupid.
007craft @ Jul 23rd 2008 11:12PM
Hilarious. Shows you what kind of people thesew are. They go where the money goes, not where they want to go.
Markez (MKWii 4339-2878-5120) @ Jul 24th 2008 1:09AM
Everything you say is negative and your pic always makes me shudder.
wako @ Jul 23rd 2008 11:15PM
Vida Guerra's butt would definitely bring Master chief to his knees
Obie @ Jul 23rd 2008 11:18PM
And her horse-face would kill em.
Anticrawl @ Jul 23rd 2008 11:51PM
What? Have you ever actually looked at her face? She is hot, all around. Plus, you can't expect her to have the perfect face with a body like that.
Markez (MKWii 4339-2878-5120) @ Jul 24th 2008 12:57AM
Always love how idiots on Joystiq rip on good looking women. A la the Morgan on Xplay is nasty type of comments. Oh how you nerds are shielded when commenting on Joystiq. Just keep on the Vader breathing behind your monitors, life is normal.
theturtle363 @ Jul 24th 2008 1:02AM
i lol'd at this and the pic of homer with glasses
Markez (MKWii 4339-2878-5120) @ Jul 24th 2008 1:04AM
Turtle if you can name the quote from this moment in the Simpsons, you earn my eternal kudos!
Trickob @ Jul 24th 2008 1:36AM
it's something about the square root of an isocolese (sp???) triangle but the guy in the stall corrects him that it's the square root of a right triangle. something like that... it always makes my wife (a math teacher) laugh. the glasses belong to henry kissinger who dropped them in the toilet where homer found them. they save him from getting fired ("better keep the egghead")
I giggle everytime I see your avatar, markez
theturtle363 @ Jul 24th 2008 1:38AM
much to my shame I cannot!!
Noshino @ Jul 24th 2008 1:47AM
"The sum of the square roots of the two sides of an isoceles triange is equal to the square root of the opposing side"
God I love imdb
Shaq-Fu @ Jul 24th 2008 1:57AM
Markez: its from when Homer finds Kissingers glasses in the bathroom
Homer Simpson: The sum of the square roots of any two sides of an isoceles triangle is equal to the square root of the remaining side.
Man on Toilet: That's a right triangle, you idiot!
Bow down to your sensei
DarkNessBear @ Jul 23rd 2008 11:31PM
Haha, that was amazing. "I thought all gamers were suppose to look like me and that guy."
This is why I say it is still a little whiles off until gaming is an accepted entertainment outlet by all.
xLV426x @ Jul 23rd 2008 11:33PM
"Scarface, Because I got a fatass paycheck."
*sigh.
Antonio @ Jul 23rd 2008 11:41PM
I was about to run in here and say "WTF? Eva Longoria isn't C-list!" But that's not her.
DarkNessBear @ Jul 24th 2008 12:05AM
Haha! I thought so to...
She is damn smokin though... Eva and Vida. I wouldn't mind seeing them do what the other Fallout3 vault suggested(Pennyarcades one).
Maverick Saturn @ Jul 24th 2008 8:17AM
WTF? Eva, lmao, thats Vida, shes like Eva, but has a nicer butt and sexier thighs ;)
Mykal Bloom @ Jul 23rd 2008 11:46PM
Wow, that host was truly awful. Just horrendous. Abysmal.
I really, really want to punch him in the teeth.
Gbogdan @ Jul 24th 2008 2:59AM
Why? because he is funnier than you will ever be?
Mr.ESC @ Jul 23rd 2008 11:56PM
Mmmmm I just see a ring and no one has called yet to tell me I will die in 7 days, what's going on?
Daniel @ Jul 24th 2008 12:00AM
i thought it was pretty funny.
Roto13 @ Jul 24th 2008 12:03AM
This is exactly what I've always thought of Gamespot.
Mr.ESC @ Jul 24th 2008 12:07AM
Wait is working and what you know is actually funny.
"I'm a grown up and straight so I don't know anything about high school musical".
Ha ha neat.
But seriously who in Gs thought inviting C celebrities would be a good idea?
Oh GS every day you give your subscribers more reasons to switch to Giantbomb.
John McPoop (PSN:johnnynumber5) @ Jul 24th 2008 12:52AM
Vida is pretty hot ... McCants sucks and I never heard of anybody else there ... Did you say something?
BTW Mr.Esc
I saw the new Batman tonight ... Incredible. The. Joker. Fucking. Rules.
Markez (MKWii 4339-2878-5120) @ Jul 24th 2008 1:03AM
ESC, you rule, have always thought so.
Poop, took me a bit, but I've warmed to you good sir. Born & bred T-Pups fan here, and I've put in my good hours waging the war against McHale. You speak the truthitudes. McCants blows. How I weep for my squad, yet rejoice at the Celtics title.
I always love on Joystiq here that people can forgive my own dbaggery whilst I accuse others of the same problem, a la that ridiculous feminist thread.
Ahhhhhh good lord I hate McHale....
Mr.ESC @ Jul 24th 2008 1:20AM
The best movie I have seen in years.I'll see it again and maybe 1 more time after that.
You guys also rule.
BananaBoat @ Jul 24th 2008 1:22AM
Let's get real. They give their readers more of an excuse to switch to IGN =p
I try to read GB, but the site layout makes me want to vomit a little bit. I'm giving it some time to mature (change) before I give it another chance, because I really want to like it.
Markez (MKWii 4339-2878-5120) @ Jul 24th 2008 1:23AM
Good lord man, I hear nothing but amazing things about this flick. The gal and I were on time constraints the other weekend, so we went to Wall-e instead, but we'll definitely be checking this out at some point.
That being said, I really, really enjoyed Wall-e.
John McPoop (PSN:johnnynumber5) @ Jul 24th 2008 2:07AM
@Mr.Esc
I agree with you 100% in regards to the movie. I even consider a bit of a movie whore. It is in my top 5 movies of all, especially time after the amazing story, atmosphere, dialogue and acting were all top notch.
@Markez
Trust me when I tell you The Dark Knight is one of the best movie experiences ever. Not just the best comic book adaptation or batman movie but rather one of the better movies ever created.
Haggard @ Jul 24th 2008 7:15AM
Wall-E was a nice story and had some good moral values in there. But Kung-Fu Panda was a far superior film imo.
Ass Masterson @ Jul 24th 2008 1:56PM
Wall-E was fodder for smug liberals (ha ha everyone's fat and stupid ... but me!!!) and Batman is just the same superhero story you've seen 100 times this year.
Taylor @ Jul 24th 2008 12:17AM
That guy has got some balls.
Wilhelm @ Jul 24th 2008 12:19AM
Rashard McCants blows.
John McPoop (PSN:johnnynumber5) @ Jul 24th 2008 12:55AM
Yup. He has an ok outside shot but with Randy Foye, Corey Brewer and Al Jefferson he will be forever relegated to "role player"
Funny thing is he will probably still have a better pro career than Tyler Hansbrough ... when he finishes his senior year ... Talk about an overrated scrub
ThornedVenom (Harley Quinn Defense Force) @ Jul 24th 2008 12:25AM
OH EPICNESS
k04sm02 @ Jul 24th 2008 12:29AM
i can see rashad mccants playing videogames, since NBA players rarely have anything to actually do with their time.
he'd probably play madden and nba live and thats it though. ive never heard of the rest of them.
Chase @ Jul 24th 2008 12:32AM
What you see you cannot unsee. x_x
Mr.ESC @ Jul 24th 2008 12:38AM
I'm afraid to ask but what cannot be unseen?
Churchy @ Jul 24th 2008 10:55AM
I scoff at this horrible butchering of a Futurama quote.
"You watched it... you can't unwatch it!" would have been the correct way to phrase this.
Haggard @ Jul 24th 2008 2:17PM
It's not a futurama quote. "What has been seen, cannot be unseen" has been around for ages. It was probably in some crappy play and became a 1950s meme.
Chase @ Jul 24th 2008 8:21PM
I love Futurama, but this is not a quote from the show, Churchy. O_O;
finaldarklord @ Jul 24th 2008 12:32AM
"its the only game I masturbated to"
And I'll never know what comes after that.
10/10, would rage again!
Churchy @ Jul 24th 2008 12:52AM
"I wouldn't know because I'm a grown up and heterosexual"
That guys has balls.
John McPoop (PSN:johnnynumber5) @ Jul 24th 2008 12:56AM
heterosexual balls no less ... I hear his eyes have balls for Vida Guerrera ... Or maybe his balls have eyes??? weird ... eye balls
