Do you think you are the only one that played Aladdin for the SNES? (I played the PC version)

He looks like Aladdin until you zoom in the he looks like Toon link.

I feel your pain Justin. There is a good reason why my nickname at work is Meatpaws. However, if I'm able to play Ninja Gaiden DS, I think I should be able to play this.

Eh no

Pc and Consoles then handhelds also Oddworld is better suited for Pc so STFU lol.

I'm a fan of the series but they should port Oddysey and Exodus.

Looks fun, but I don't see that it gains anything from the touch screen controls. It worked for Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, though, so we'll have to wait and see. Certainly looks good enough.

i agree. i can't count how many DS games have been released that needlessly utilise the stylus, when a simple button press would suffice. a handful of games have pulled it off somewhat successfully, while too many others failed.

yes, i know the DS includes a touch-screen and stylus -- that doesn't mean you have to use them! cars have reverse, but that doesn't mean we want to back-up everywhere we go.

I'd say the repositioning of bombs being thrown by the boss makes a decent arguement for this touch screen control. My only concern is if they combine traditional with with touch screen controls. Most of the failed attempts combined both...

what is the point of the top screen other than making the system awkward to hold?

I love the cinematic split screen stuff. That was fantastic in Metroid.

I still don't quite understand how the game controls. A lot of the time there didn't seem to be any stylusing going on at all. Does the game use buttons AND stylus, or what?

/the stylus comes on the screen, performs a movement, then the same movement continues w/o the stylus. Then it'll show up again to demonstrate the prince doing something else- ie picking up the coins, then slashing the sword. At least, that's how I interpreted it.

also, it would seem jumping in this game causes violent and noisy hiccups for the prince. it's like Strider 2's perpetual screaming all over again.

Hate to say "I told you so" but "I told you so." I saw the character design and didn't instantly dismiss the title. Now that gameplay has been shown, it's on my DS watch list....

I bow respectfully to you sir. I was a loud naysayer from the moment I first saw that Ubi was doing a DS POP, but after watching this trailer, it looks like they're putting some effort into it. It's on my radar as well.

I don't know what the fuck that was, but it sure wasnt PoP - I hardly saw any combat aside from some basic slashes, that can't be right.

You DO know they made Prince of Persia games before 2002, right? Just saying...

Also, current POP games hardly focus on the combat... wow, come to think of it... that was an all around fucktarded observation. Gratz!

Whut?
Yes, I've played the FIRST PoP's. They were boring, no fancy sparkly combat. Hence, this is boring too.
