Not content with merely developing one episodic game series featuring a charming dog, Telltale Games has revealed a new game starring Aardman Animation's eccentric duo, Wallace & Gromit. In Wallace & Gromit's Grand Adventures, players will be able to control both the absentminded inventor and his expressive dog, no doubt developing bizarre Rube Goldberg machines, mechanized articles of clothing and an insatiable lust for delicious, delicious cheese.
Though details regarding price and number of episodes have yet to be confirmed, Telltale CEO Dan Connors has assured fans that the show's distinct clay-mated look will be maintained, and that Grand Adventures wouldn't seek to emulate previous (see: not so good) games based on the property. "We feel like the gameplay should be more of an experience," he said. "You should be able to interact with the other characters and really feel like you're in the world of 'Wallace & Gromit..." Given said world's clay constitution, that provides even more reason for us to stay out of the sun.

Great!
I love Telltale games and Wallace and Gromit is nice too. I hope the game is released on a console.
Adventure games are very nice and Telltale is showing some Wii love: Sam & Max next month and Strongbad next monday.
I hope someday LucasArts do a remake of Day of the Tentacle and Grim Fandango.

I hope this, much like SBCG4AP, is coming to a WiiWare near MiiWare.
Though I doubt it. I don't mind getting it for PC, though, I love Wallace and Gromit.

Awesome! I was worried about what would happen to Wallace & Grommit after the studio fire, and if they're having new adventures in game form, I'm all for it.

There's a new Wallace and Gromit short film coming out at the end of the year, so perhaps this will release around the same time?
My only concern is the voice of Wallace. Peter Sallis is at least 85 years old, and I'm not sure it could work without his voice in the game. Here's hoping though!

This is awesome news, I am a big Wallace & Gromit fan, and have always wanted a decent game in that universe...it always had such huge potential for a good game but no one has ever taken the time to do it justice, and Telltale seem like they just might pull it off.
Wallace & Gromit has traditionally been delivered in small-ish, bite-sized chunks, and I think the same structure for games based on it is perfect. And, we all know Telltale are the de facto episodic game development studio. It's a match made in Wisconsin....you know, the cheese capitol of the world, aka cheese heaven....nevermind

Oh HELL yes, FINALLY something OTHER than Bone and Sam and Max.
This should be good, I just hope all the negotiations work for this and that Nick Park oversees everything in terms of the writing.
I don't think the original voice actor for Wallace is 100% necessary, but it would be a nice touch for fans of the series.

Victory.
Telltale seems to have a hell of a knack for securing franchises that are absolutely perfect for them.
I am kinda curious if Bone will ever pick up again, though. :-/
