We are actually excited to bring you the Joystiq Podcast this week. We know, it's shocking. Not only do we start with one of the best celebrity introductions ever, we close with a battle of epic proportions. Oh, and in between, we talk about video games.
Fun fact: This week's brilliant image was sent to us by Eric who, in a fit of rage, we once promised to set on fire. The resulting photoshopping made our hollow threats totally worth it.

Someone should totally photoshop that. Lady and the Tramp except it'd be...Ludwig and the Grant.
It'd be adorable and creepy.

Hey Justin, Ward here. An epic battle against a worthy opponent. Now I only need to find a way to turn the merchant-off into a paying gig. Cheers.

I actually work at Apple. I'm on my work computer for almost all of my posts! I really liked the tying a rock to the contacts, they'll sink faster haha

Alright, walk over to Steve Job's cubicle right over there and ask him to fix syncing. Seriously, it's absolutely broken. I've restored a backup, i've restored and started from scratch. I've erased sync history, i've deleted contacts, synced, and added them back ... all for nothing. Nothing works. :-(

The Journal just wrote an article about how Mobile Me is not working out yet. It seemed like a way ambitious jump from mac.com. Apple fucking up is so strange, its hard to believe.

They're hiring a ton more people to help out with Mobile Me. My Mobile Me account works fine. And if your phone isn't working just call in. They're troubleshoot it until you're good to go. If they can't fix anything let me know

Actually made some time and went to the local Apple Store – took the guy over an hour, it actually started to really piss him off. Finally figured it out: Address Book was corrupt. Exporting to a database backup and restoring wasn't enough; had to export everything as Vcards and reimport to a fresh new AB database. All better!

Well at least it's working now. Do you have the 3G iPhone or 1st generation iPhone?
